(tl;dr at bottom, wow I didn't think it was this long)
This game has been one hell of a ride, let me tell you. From the very beginning, after the cast assessment was released, I was labelled a strategic threat who knew exactly what he was doing to get to the end. With that label in mind, I knew I had to start gathering loyal numbers IMMEDIATELY, and keep them solid. I couldn't play both sides because that's what people expect of me nowadays, so instead opted for a leadership role in a loyal group.
After making a F2 with Jackson, and solidifying a final 4 with him, Sim, and tennis, I thought that was a good foundation to protect me early game. I also knew I genuinely wanted to work with Kool, because I thought he would play similarly to me, not making emotional decisions. So with those 4 as my core allies, I moved forward in the game.
I knew right away I wanted LeXXXy out of there. It wasn't hard, giving how controlling he was; he was already starting to rub people the wrong way. A new group of 7 was made with my core 4 allies plus Sim and Jackson's plus ones, chibi and Lights. Noting that Ohhayy was alone, I made an effort to get to know him more and protect him, hoping it would pay off later.
And it did. After LeXXXy went up, he knew I was responsible, and went guns blazing after me and Kool for 13th. However, with one of his numbers, ohhayy, refusing to nominate me, and the most sketchy member of our group, Jackson, thinking I was final 2 with him, there was no way they could get the numbers. I encouraged Jackson and Ligths to split Kool/Butcher, hoping that if my pair was nommed my target would be lessened, and knowing that was one of the only people he could stay against.
12th and 11th were easy enough, nomming people who had no interest in working with me. At 10th, chibi made a move too early, and we didn't have the numbers to secure a Ray/Lights nomset. Since our 5 would only be enough to tie it, I let Sim and Chibi go up, knowing we would have the 5 needed to lock those in the next DC.
So after surviving three times being a counter (13th, 11th, and 9th), people began to compare notes and see just how I had been able to stay safe thus far. I did my best to keep my allies loyal to me, but it was a tough balancing act to maintain. Intimidated, they decided to throw me up with who was perceived to be the most popular person in the game, Steve.
When I miraculously stayed, my target just got even bigger. I tried to work every angle I could, but with this strong group of players, they knew I was now the biggest threat to them winning, so there was little I could do to change their minds. Still, that doesn't mean I didn't try my hardest to shake things up and squeak by.
(tl;dr) The cast has testified how much of an effect I have had on this game. LeXXXy said I had the cast wrapped around my finger, GentlemanG said I had people protecting me from all angles, Kool and Jackson noted how much effort I put into this game when they left. I really want a place in that finals, and I hope you continue to support me, because I couldn't have made it this far without that encouragement. Thank you so much.
