RSF Champion Rankings (Part 18 of 40)

Jul 17, 2017 by RShowFreak
I have decided to rank each of the RSF Champions from each season I have hosted based off of what I remember and with each part of this blog series, add my thoughts on the following season.

1. BOBROCKS333 (I Love Money) - Played a very dominant game challenge-wise only being vulnerable 4 out of 14 rounds.  It started early with him winning the first challenge to help pick teams before helping lead his Green Team to win 5 straight challenges leading up to the swap where he was picked for a new team but had good allies to not be placed in The Strongbox for that round then the disqualification of zachup.  In the Individual portion of the game he won 3 out of 5 challenges (in a row) to become the Paymaster and help dictate which players went home taking out strong competitor after strong competitor.  His best moment was probably in the penultimate round in helping convince Dito to bring him to the Final despite being the biggest physical threat in the game.  Overall, it was a dominant physical performance with highlights of some social game in that the moments he was vulnerable he avoided being put up for elimination in the Strong Box and despite being the biggest threat not being eliminated before the Finals.

2. Piddu (Battle of the Seasons) - Gave a dominating performance by not only making the Finals but ultimately winning a pair season virtually alone due to his partner being inactive for pretty much the entire season.  While playing alone dominated in challenges to win 5 of the 12 challenges in the season (not counting the Final) and single-handedly being the reason his pair was in the Inner Circle a majority of the game.  In the penultimate round, defeated the dominant pair of BOBROCKS333/DBWs in the Final Dome (their 5th of the season) to secure a spot in the Finals before eventually defeating the other 2 teams in the Final.  Earned the title of Champion in a pair season by doing it virtually alone which was impressive.

3. BOBROCKS333 (The Castle) - Another challenge dominating performance.  In the 18 initial rounds before the Final 6 (Individual Gauntlet) he was the only player to have won the challenge and thus be safe for more than half the rounds (10 of the 18).  He survived 2 eliminations (1 Tower and 1 Dungeon) in strong fashions and then survived The Gauntlet of the Final Tower, Dungeon and Royal Court proving his social ability with the jury of eliminated players (9 of them) choosing him as 1 of the 3 Finalists.  Then he cemented his RSF Legacy with his 6th RSF Championship in 10 seasons in the largest cast and one of the toughest seasons up to that point.

4. BOBROCKS333 (The Mole) - While BOBROCKS333 definitely had an easier ride through the early part of the game with half the cast essentially dropping out early on he still performed well throughout the season.  He tied the record of most exemptions won this season winning 2 exemptions within the first 3 rounds.  Out of the 8 rounds, he only had to take the Execution Quiz 6 times and 5 of those 6 quizzes he correctly identified the Mole.  Despite the easier path in the first part of the season, for a Mole game it was still a dominant performance especially considering he was the only person that season to correctly identify The Mole.

5. BBlover96 (Big Brother: The Mystery Room) - Did a decent job in the season really focusing on the social game.  Won 2 Vetos early on and had 1 Key HoH at Final 7 which started the decimation of the BOBROCKS333/LilAngelBaby/QueenDoe side.  Despite QueenDoe using the Diamond Power of Veto to save herself and throw up his closest ally, the vote was a tie and BBlover96 would have been the tiebreaker but instead utilized his Mystery Room Power to be the sole vote in that key week.  But after that important week, he didn't win any more competitions and was on the block the last 3 weeks of the game.  But, was the only non-quitter to never have anyone cast a vote to evict him thus relying on his social game but despite that only narrowly won the jury vote by 1 vote.

6. BOBROCKS333 (Fresh Meat) - Played a good well-rounded game this season.  In challenges, his pair won more challenges than any other pair and strategically did well in that they were never voted into Exile by the challenge winners or the group.  Ranks higher than his partner because he was more responsible for winning the challenges his pair won.  Was definitely the more physical player of the pair in the challenges along with helping carry forward alliances from previous seasons such as with LilAngelBaby.

7. Nelson (Fresh Meat) - Played a good well-rounded game this season.  In challenges, his pair won more challenges than any other pair and strategically did well in that they were never voted into Exile by the challenge winners or the group.  Ranks lower than his partner because he was less responsible for winning the challenges his pair won.  The more social player in the pairing in that he helped to try and reach out to form bonds with other players and keep them up after some initial help from his Veteran partner.

8. 49288 (Big Brother: The Mystery Room 2) - A solid win for a Big Brother game.  In the early stages he layed low and won 1 HoH during Doubles Week when 2 people were evicted to not only protect himself but have some control over who went.  The mid-game was defined by a punishment taken in the How Bad Do You Want It? Veto competition in which he gave up his right to vote at the next 4 eligible opportunities.  This really helped him coast as he was seen as non-threatening by others and kept around since he had no say in who went.  He coasted by the mid-game winning only 1 Veto during a week that ironically the Coup d'etat was used thus protecting himself unknowingly from a potential blindside.  Once the vote punishment was up, he survived a week nominated against the biggest threat in the game before winning 3 HoHs in a row and a Veto in the week he wasn't HoH to essentially win his way to the end and get 4/5 of the Jury Votes to earn the title.  Played a strong textbook Big Brother game of laying low, building a weak persona while creating connections then winning his way to the end and dominating the jury vote (albeit 2 didn't vote) with the 1 vote not in his favor being due to that juror voting for his long time alliance member.

*ADDED ENTRY* - 9. bbfan21 (The Mole 3: Vengeance is Sweet) - This was a solid win by bbfan21 in the Mole 3 based on his deduction skills mixed with some luck.  He was the 1st to be onto splozojames50 as The Mole identifying him in the 2nd round and never looking back by correctly guessing his identity as The Mole nearly the entire game.  He got through each round on his own merit without any bonus tokens or exemptions.  His suspicion of splozojames50 came from his shady behavior in the first two rounds and an unknowing mistake by the host in the form of a typo of numbers led bbfan21 to incorrectly assume it was a clue to the Mole's identity and with that combo led him inadvertently to the identity of The Mole.  Overall for a Mole game was a strong win being on the right track nearly the entire game.

10. BOBROCKS333 (The Gauntlet) - Another strong performance led by strong physical and social aspects.  Of all players was safe for the most rounds of the game by being a member of the dominant team and in 2 of the 3 double rounds won challenges to protect himself.  In addition, was the only champion of this season to never have to face the Gauntlet once.

11. splozojames50 (The Gauntlet) - For a rookie gave a strong performance as a member of the dominant team.  He was one of the few to win in the penultimate challenge to secure his spot in the Finals and was able to win 2 Gauntlets along the way.  In addition, he was the only member of the winning group of 7 to vote in the majority at every vote they had while also being protected (via vote) in a round which was something only 2 champions of this season had happen.

12. BBlover96 (The Gauntlet) - Another core member of the vets on the winning team.  He was able to prove his worth in challenges to help his team and then prove himself individually by performing in the clutch by winning the last 2 Gauntlets to secure a spot in the Final.

13. nbkiller (The Gauntlet) - Came into the season as an underdog amongst the veterans and this newer Vet status left him on the outs of several team votes throughout the season.  But despite that, helped push to the end by winning an individual challenge and stepping it up by winning 2 Gauntlets as well.

14. jimboslice (The Gauntlet) - As a new face in the game really stepped up as a member of the team and after initially being on the outs in that 1st vote, became a core member being involved in challenges by winning both an individual challenge and a Gauntlet while also voting correctly all but one time with the team.

15. Spinner554 (The Gauntlet) - Helped as part of the dominating team and was in the core group of Veterans to ride to the end having only misvoted once by not participating.  He was also one of the 2 people to ever be protected by the other team.  He is only in the lower half amongst his teammates for not being as strong in the challenges, despite winning one of the Final Gauntlets.

16. sarge455 (Survivor Worldwide) - sarge played a good game throughout his 1st winning season.  His journey started off on a high being on a winning tribe throughout the pre-merge with each time he went to Tribal having voted in the majority and had a pretty smooth ride throughout the pre-merge.  His game started to take a turn in the last round before the merge when he was the only one to not vote correctly.  This would occur several times throughout the post-merge where he would end up on the wrong side of the numbers but each time that happened he would find some form of protection.  This mainly consisted of winning an Exile Island duel and thus skipping a round of the game essentially and earning safety.  By being able to win that safety and not partake in the vote he stepped back in the shadows after being on the outs and he really utilized that Exile twist well being the player post-merge to spend the most time on Exile.  When he returned he got back in the majority before the process would repeat with the final time this happening him being able to pull off a clutch win in the Final Immunity challenge to cement his spot in the Finals where he convinced 3/4 of the jury how his strong social game and winning when he needed to made him deserve the win.  Overall, wasn't a strategic mastermind but had a strong social game and won whenever he needed to in order to ensure him getting further and further until he got the win.

17. Austinsscott (The Gauntlet) - Member of the winning team and was thus safe through a majority of the season but proved himself individually by winning one of the Final Gauntlets in the season.  Of all the team members through drops due to his performance in the Final of varying activity and essentially being carried to a win.

18. michael222 (The Amazing Race) - Throughout the early and middle stages of the season struggled with the race finishing generally in the middle to the back of the back with 1 leg win early on.  After U-Turning a team successfully to survive a late leg, was able to step up and start racing better before beating the most dominant team throughout the season in the Final Leg to claim the title of RSF Champion.  Ranked higher than his partner due to completing nearly twice as many Roadblocks as them and contributing more to the race win.

19. coltsfan876 (The Amazing Race) - Throughout the early and middle stages of the season struggled with the race finishing generally in the middle to the back of the back with 1 leg win early on.  After U-Turning a team successfully to survive a late leg, was able to step up and start racing better before beating the most dominant team throughout the season in the Final Leg to claim the title of RSF Champion.  Ranked lower than race partner due to not completing as many Roadblock tasks and relying on their partner for those individual tasks moreso.

20. Piddu (The Ruins) - He helped lead the team to another strong victory albeit against a generally inactive team.  He got to the Final as 1 of 2 people to never be chosen to compete in The Ruins yet being eligible 5 times.  In the Final, was the main reason for the team passing the most difficult checkpoint.

21. turney1805 (The Ruins) - Played a strong social game by being 1 of the only 2 people on the winning team to never have to face The Ruins.  Competed well in the challenges to help the team.  Finally achieved their first RSF title after having competed throughout the RSF Franchise since the 1st season.

22. Timster (The Ruins) - Played a strong social game as well only ever receiving 1 vote to go into the Ruins.  Also competitively stepped up by winning a Ruins against an active competitor.  This was the first of several wins that the future Hall of Famer would earn.

23. splozojames50 (The Ruins) - A solid member of the team competitively throughout and proving individually could do well by winning a Ruins elimination against an active competitor.  Helped lead his team to earn another RSF title in a team game.

24. Dito (The Ruins) - Throughout the season played low-key only ever being eligible for the Ruins 3 times and was voted in 2 of those times.  Socially was connected enough to not have to volunteer for The Ruins but was voted in and won 2 Ruins on the way to his win, albeit 1 of them being against an inactive.

25. jharrin7887 (The Ruins) - Of the winning team, focused on a strong individual game over the team and ended with the most pendants via winning 2 Ruins.  However, the 2 Ruins he won to earn those pendants were against inactive players and he was one of the main causes for dissension among the team but ultimately helped work with them to claim a win.

26. Insanity17 (The Mole: Return of the Traitor) - Insanity17 came off seasons where he showed he could compete and continued this throughout The Mole 2.  He was one of the many players who won 2 exemptions in the season and also was the player to earn the most number of Bonus Tokens in focusing on getting through to the next round as opposed to building up the group pot.  However, he was off track on the identity of the mole almost the entire season despite 1 correct guess partway through the season.  His main suspects however were popular enough options to help carry him forward as they also made deep runs and he squeaked by on it every time even surviving a tie at the Final 5 with his time carrying him to the Final 4.  He did not correctly guess the mole again until the Final Quiz in which he earned the title of Champion.

27. BOBROCKS333 (Moolah Beach) - This season heavily depended on luck to survive but started the series as the first strong competitor help lead his team to several challenge wins which helped greatly decrease the teams chances of going home.  Definitely the more active of the partnership that claimed the 1st RSF Championship.

28. LilAngelBaby (Survivor East vs West) - Initially was not in the loop and seemingly played a very individual game pre-merge voting correctly only 1 of 6 times.  Part of tribe that lost every possible challenge post-swap/pre-mutiny and just really didn't do much pre-merge.  Last member of that post-swap/post-mutiny tribe standing when the other 3 were voted out leaving them alone in the Top 7.  Not targeted due to appearing weak and other players going for bigger targets.  So out of the loop they literally voted for the same person in the first 5 post-merge Tribals until that person was voted out (Survivor8).  Skated by as a non-threat until winning the Final 2 Immunities and being on the outs to secure a spot in the Final Tribal where they were seen as the nicer person who had more friends on the jury and barely backstabbed anyone to win 5-2.  While they were at least active throughout the season (despite 1 round of no voting), strategically did very little (voted correctly 3 of 12 times) and only got to the end/won by winning 2 clutch immunities.

29. aiwfwyattroh (Cutthroat) - Was part of the Red Team who was initially viewed as one of the weakest teams since they only won 1 challenge out of the first 7 and their team was whittled down to 2 by the Final.  However, in the late game he proved he could compete in winning a Gulag and then winning the penultimate challenge to secure his spot in the Final.  However, due to being part of the only full team to show up to the Final essentially won the season by default.

30. johnoliver96 (Cutthroat) - Was part of the Red Team who was initially viewed as one of the weakest teams since they only won 1 challenge out of the first 7 and their team was whittled down to 2 by the Final.  He showed strong strategic sense being the only Red Team member all season to never have to face the Gulag.  However, due to being part of the only full team to show up to the Final essentially won the season by default.

31. ofl1998 (The Duel) - Won a generally inactive season but overall gave one of his better performances.  Before this season he was perennial first boot in multiple seasons and finally got a win but did so with a generally inactive cast.  A lot of the heavy hitters of this season were namely eliminated due to inactivity either in a duel or via the inactivity strikes rule.  Despite this, was able to win 3 challenges in the season which is tied for most that season and then won 2 Duels (1 was inactive) and won an additional duel for another player.  However, does drop due to the inactive cast and the fact the other person who won 3 challenges and was probably the favorite going into the Finals was banned before the Final dropping it from a 3 person Final to a 2 person Final.

32. BOBROCKS333 (Survivor Atlantis: The Lost Empire) - This win ranks so low namely for 2 reasons.  The first and most important is he was voted out at the original Final 6 and only re-entered the game due to The Temple twist.  His social game was decent enough to get jury votes seen as the physical threat despite his alliance member and fellow finalist, Insanity17, winning the last 4 Individual Immunities and getting only 1 vote.  The 2nd main reason for the drop is I just feel uneasy about the poll as the tiebreaker instead of a re-vote.  That is more from a production say since he could not do anything about either of those but they lead me to rank this win on the lower end.

33. ohhayy (Moolah Beach) - The season won was heavily dependent on luck.  ohhayy was more active both at the beginning of the season and towards the end from roughly Final 3 to the end.  Had a rough stretch in the middle of very little activity and feel was initially helped by being brought through the game by having a strong partner.

34. Supahhero (Battle of the Seasons) - After the pairs were announced, he went inactive pretty much the entire game only showing up shortly ironically at the Final Challenge after being at 25+ days away.  Simply a champion due to the dominant performance of his partner.
