Eh all of my "flips" had valid reasoning behind them.
Literally past the second merge vote I've voted with the same group the entire time.
I didn't get a chance to solidify any groups since I never had tribal council pre-merge. So where everyone was solidifying their alliances I had not gotten the opportunity.
