I used to think internet dating was the dumbest thing ever until I met a girl online and developed string feelings for her I even considered leaving my gf IRL for her but then knew that would be crazy and we could never really be together but I can see why people would get upset over an online relationship now

I don't really agree with this, you can fall for someone online. I mean it's unlikely you will meet and actually DATING online is kinda pointless because you can't really go on "dates" but you really can't control who you love and it's not like it's her fault that she fell in love.
