I'm about 200% more likely to actually plus your crappy design if you are just straight forward and about 500% more likely to neg it if you try to be clever and funny or say something like "Oh hey, how have you been lately?? ...Plus this please"

That's a great thought, but the fact of the matter is MOST people won't plus straightforward spam.

Although, it is kind of annoying when someone has an odd message.
