the only flaw I see in this idea is it will be kinda annoying if the majority of people changed their name, cuz then it will just be confusing, you wouldn't know who is who easily.
That's why there would have to be these restrictions, a lot of people probably wouldn't want to pay that much I think Akora. Just the people who really wanted a diff name.
Akora There could be like a little name tag like thing on the bottom of your new username that says "Formerly _____" for a year once everyone gets it, it'll go away.
I guess xgirlyblondex's idea of "formerly ______" can work, sexgoddx, gagaluv. I am not against this, but personally, I'd rather have things the way they are now.
(and the "formerly _____" should be permanent too, if this was to go through)
ok for a more serious opinion. This was done on deviantart and quite honestly it was kinda a failure, because it caused no one to actually know who anyone really was, even with the "formerly" thing, people still got confused. IDK i think it's a good idea especially since a lot of us wish we could switch (myself included), i just think it would be very difficult
Aimers Yea it could be messy maybe he'd have to make it even more expensive so it's like a really rare thing but it's still an option for those who really want it.
I really like the concept and all but I feel that if you change your username once the price should go up. Say the first time is 1k to change it then the second 2K then from there 500T$ every other time. Love the idea sexgoddx
maybe make it so people could change their usernames twice only and after they change it the first time they have to wait a year to be able to change it again
I can see people wanting to go back to their former name and having to constantly remind people who they really are if they do change their name. The confusion from multiple accounts is bad enough:( That original name you give yourself is also connected to player's experiences with you and therefore is important.
The thing I see not working about this is stupid people who are in.love with each other will.make their usernames really similar and it will be soooooo annoying. We will have tacky usernames like "Ilovejennibabyx"
hmm idk i kind of like the idea of never changing them. i think it makes it unique on your 1st instinct on what you name yourself on tengaged. idk my random sentimental aspect lol :P sexgoddx
how about you make it 2500 ts and each time you want to change it doubles
first name change 2500
second name change 5000
third name change 10000
fourth name change 20000
that way people would not be able to abuse the system
SexGoddx I like this idea. But I kinda disagree in a way, some really hated people on this site or bullies could change their username to hide their identity :P
Or, you could just get rid of non t$ restrictions, and under a persons picture in games and on their profile, and have a small ? Or something and you hover your mouse over it to see past names. It can be a lot easier.
A forum I used to be on did that sort of thing. Instead of in game currency, we just used a list of who had their names changed each month. You couldn't do it again for 3-6 months.
Good idea but i dont think the level restriction should be black. And the cost should be 400t$. Or maybe you could sell usernames... Holy crap thats awesome! Im making a new blog
I do agree for being able to change your username. But, I think it should be FREE and for color levels black and up! I've been on this site for little over 2 years now and would love to be able to change my name. Yes I could just create a new username and stop using this one, but I don't want to start all over again. It took me long enough to get where I am and I'm not where I want to be.
Idk if someone said this already (I dont wanna read) but you also can't use a username that has been done already.. like I can't change mine to Sexgoddx.
maybe you should be able to keep your name like alternate back to your old name if you ever choose to or like atleast make the name unuseable to anyone else
