The Sims 2 has sadly reached end of service.
But, If you bought any The Sims 2 game (and still have serial numbers) (or have a method of getting serial numbers), Origin is giving everyone who bought the game "The Sims 2 Ultimate Edition" which is all of the EPs & Stuff packs for free.
You have to call or chat with them on origin.com under "contact us", and if you don't have a serial or maybe someone ELSE took your serial number (wink wink) then taking a picture of the physical CD's to proved I owned them sufficed. Even if it's just one of the CDs.
(My picture included The sims 2 nightlife disk 2, the sims 2 double deluxe bonus dvd, The sims 2 seasons disk 1, and the sims 2 pets disk 2. I would imagine just one of these would do, but I was annoyed.)
Origin (EA's client downloader) is giving anyone who bought a Sims 2 game, they're giving them a serial code to The Sims 2 Ultimate Edition for free - which is all EPs and stuff packs that the sims 2 ever had.
bowling4fun not sure, just learned about it today.
Like the blog says just go to origin.com, scroll down to the very bottom of the page
then hit "contact us"
then go through the process by selecting PC or mac,
and then Codes
and then wait. lol.
and be sure to have a serial number of a sims 2 game ready for them so they can give you the code.
@Shaybayy I know, that's what I'm saying. They are saying as long as u still have TS2 Disk u can play. Just load it to origin an they gv u the free pacts.
