on fucking glasses today because mine literally broke the first hour into my shift. I was cleaning them and the arm of one snapped off. If I see/look at lights without my glasses I get really really bad headaches, so I had to work all day like that and that was REALLY not fun at all.
I'm not sure if glasses are really fucking expensive now (I ended up having to get 2 pair for $69, because the ones I wanted weren't available with like anti-glare and HD which I apparently need because my entire right eye is "nothing but astigmatism" So I got a temporary pair and my normal pair with all my special shit on it will be done next Saturday.
I just don't get why it's so fucking expensive for glasses. Generic ones don't work for me, and the eye exam wasn't all that expensive. Is it just because my prescription is so severe or are they just fucking outrageous as always?
Mine are expensive too because the higher your astigmatism, the more expensive it is. Which sucks because I've needed glasses since I was 4. XD Shayybayy, the world is cruel.
