Doing a blog series during my rewatch of The Amazing Race 13. Basing each team off of the episode aired so previous episodes will not factor in.
10th-Terence/Sarah
They took it home this episode for worst team. Terence is terrible! So far on the verge of being one of my least favorite teams to ever run the race! He constantly undermines Sarah and treats her like shit and then talking shit to other teams as well. Sarah is not any better with her whole "I want people to talk to me" gig. Although I did lol when she was pissed that Nick/Starr didn't say hi to her at the airport. Lol what a delusional bitch.
9th-Kelly/Christy
If I could count how many confessionals they had about their exes/being in a bad relationship, I would need more hands. That is ALL they talk about!! They had one glimmer of hope when they started off a confessional saying how terrible Terrence treats Sarah, but then totally brought it back around and started talking about their exes again. Please, can you talk about ANYTHING else besides your exes??? You're worse than the derby moms! Also, lol at them trying to find a container after they got their clue from the detour which the container was meant for the other detour they didn't choose and THEN not telling their taxi cab driver to wait for them during the roadblock. They really do not read clues well enough.
8th-Andrew/Dan
Actually didn't really do anything bad this episode, but at the same time, didn't do anything spectacular either. Only problem with them this episode was their over-inflated egos, but that was one short confessional so it was nothing big.
7th-Anthony/Stephanie
Weren't really existent in this episode either besides the fact that they really need the money to get married. Well everyone needs the money anyways so that's no shock. Although Stephanie had a really nice confessional about feeling bad for how the people are living in poverty and totally has a better outlook on life. I think though this was a perfect place for them to go though because I really don't see them offering much more in this season as a team and rather them go than a team like Ken/Tina.
6th-Nick/Starr
Nick and Starr are starting to get a little bit more development as a team overall as being the badboy/girl team...mainly just Nick though. Starr is too busy freaking out over things. Nick first tries to work with Sarah, but not even 5 seconds after that shoves her away to work with Dan lol. Then while working with Dan saying how he will come back if he got it only to go back on his word and totally fuck them over. They are definitely playing an aggressive game, but I'm not sure if they are playing the game in a way where I should root for them or hate them. This will definitely have to be decided on later on.
5th-Aja/Ty
Didn't do much this episode. Fun watching Ty though make fun of Terrence while he was in the cab and Terrence was racing towards it. They seem like cool people, but haven't stood out yet.
4th-Marisa/Brooke
They emerged after a terrible first episode! Funny in a cute way, these blondes sure did have a good episode! From them wanting to do one detour, but following Nick/Starr to the other one was funny along with them giving out candy as a bribery method lolll. Also Marisa thinking that she has to know Spanish to solve the roadblock < 3
3rd-Toni/Dallas
I still love them, but they didn't stand out nearly as much as the other two teams ahead of them. Though I still love how sweet Dallas is towards his mother and how strong and determined Toni is! They are easily rootable in the game and Dallas going out of his way to help the evil Terence and Sarah team shows how much class he has. Great people overall.
2nd-Mark/Bill
I am really enjoying Mark and Bill right now. They have a fun sense of humor about them which is endearing along with being smart and not over-thinking everything that is going on in the race. Bill's yoda impersonation was fun and gave a good sense of who they are and where they come from...which is being comic book geeks and then later watching him figure out a smart method to finish the roadblock was clever in itself. Definitely a team I will be rooting for down the road.
1st-Ken/Tina
Tina owned this episode by herself! She really is the older version of Marie (season 23). She believes everyone owes her for getting an airline company to change to a bigger plane because she wouldn't refuse to leave until they did. She also constantly kept asking her taxi driver if he had a cellphone when he said he didn't. Then her just owning Terence by cutting in front of him because she was the first to purchase her ticket so she should be ahead of him in line on the plane. All the while Ken is just there defending Tina and taking the punches she throws out. God I love them so much right now!
