Recently I have passed the 1 month mark of me studying abroad in London, so I decided I might as well check in.
First off, thank you to everyone who said kind words to me before I left, it really did mean a lot to me. Before I got on my flight, I was so scared and nervous of what these next months were to come.
However, this past month has, without a doubt, been the BEST month of my entire life. There are currently 30 or so students from my home university on the trip and I鈥檓 happy to say that I am genuine friends with almost all of them. Within a week I formed a tight bond with the 6 guys on the trip and now we are inseparable, for the most part. Being on this trip has made me become friends with people I never knew back home and wouldn鈥檛 have thought to become friends with them. Being surrounded with such great people has really made me feel at home, I really love being in London. It's such a blessing.
So far we have traveled to Amsterdam, Stonehenge, and Bath. In the next few months, we have planned and booked trips to Scotland, Wales, Paris, Monaco, Barcelona, Germany, Poland, Rome, Florence, Croatia, Budapest, Manchester, Switzerland, Ireland and possibly several more cities/countries. I鈥檝e always known I鈥檝e wanted to experience the world first hand and this trip has been a blessing so far in helping me see the world. Although my 2017 was off to a horrible start back home, I am genuinely so happy with the decision I made and cannot wait to continue the adventure of a lifetime for the next several months.
With this blog, I鈥檓 not returning to the site completely but I鈥檒l probably be on to bet at night before bed while in London. Also, the reason I am making this blog is something more than just an update, but I will be making another blog probably tomorrow night about something more exciting.
I'm so glad your abroad studying is going so well and I'm so jealous at the fact that you've already been to so many different places and are planning to travel a lot more offer. "So far we have traveled to Amsterdam, Stonehenge, and Bath"
I really hope things are going to continue to go well.
Happy to hear from you and glad you're having the experience of a lifetime :)) is the next blog a meet up with Olivia?!?! I've met a few Tengagers and it's always exciting but never one across seas :p
I really hope things are going to continue to go well.
