So I was the one that made trapped in ice and unsurprisingly overnight while I was asleep, it was removed.
No mail, no word, just gone.
I guess it didn't count as an hair ornament, so my question to the moderators or Randomize or whoever reads this is... why do and did these?
If my designs are going to be removed because they don't fit into a various section can I just say, ADD MORE SECTIONS! Or, remove all those designs, not just ones you see fit to.
I will post it again, and I'll improve on it first, try and make it even better. When I do I'm sure it will be removed and I'll lose desginer points for it, I recall reading of a penalty.
Well I won't be quashed as a designer because you spot my designs and not others... heck are the parrots even considered hair ornaments? They sit on the shoulders, but even I like them.
Anyway, if you want to see funny, clever, wacky designs even reach auction you have to let yourselves be heard, tell Randomize and anyone else who is moderating this site that YOU want to buy these and YOU want to see them reach there.
This half-assed attempt at moderation just makes me sick, ban them all or ban none.
+10 I agree. I mean, rules are rules and randomize has every right to make them BUT by not telling us why our designs are removed, he's wasting everyone's time.
are you sure it's because it was placed under the wrong category and not because of the transparency of the ice? i think yours is the first 'see through' design i've come across, maybe it's that?
It's not just that, it's the fact so many are already being worn and people continue to post designs that reach auction, so to pick on a few in particular but let others go by... it shows there's either not enough moderation or a bias.
Of course I think it's the former but still, if a design is liked and it isn't copyright infringing I don't see why there should be a problem.
Add more sections, maybe Background and Foreground allowing people to place things behind and in front of the character. You can still moderate it, but maybe it will give designers a little more freedom?
