Bringing back the after-the-vote idol from Cook Islands is bullshit tbh.
It's basically a free pass to at least the F5, and is the reason they CHANGED it in Fiji.
The idol works TONNES better as a gamble than a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Someone can just do the same thing Yul did and frighten people into not voting them.
Why is it that Jeff/CBS/whoever is willing to make Survivor that cheap just for the novelty of something "unique" or "different". #Survivor

Yes this is true, but WHY IS IT NEEDED?
Split votes will immediately go from exciting to boring, because the OP idol means we immediately know who is gunna go home.
It's too overpowered, meaning it will either be wasted, useless and boring to watch, or it will end up in the majority and still be useless as they don't need to play it.
