Welcome to the next season here on Survivor Games, SURVIVOR: FAVORITES vs. CELEBRITIES! We are pitting 10 of your favorite Survivor castaways against 10 awesome celebrities who have competed on shows like “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Amazing Race,” or “Celebrity Apprentice,” or are trying a game like this for the first time! It’s going to be a test of stamina, but it will be a ton of fun!
Here are your Survivor Favorites!
*Matt Elrod (Redemption Island)- The first person to ever win a Redemption Island duel, first person to return from Redemption Island, first person to be voted out twice in one season since Pearl Islands, but not the first to be on Boston Rob’s bad side. Matt was even able to steal Andrea’s heart in the process. Matt had the odds stacked against him all season, but still fought back, and this made him an entertaining presence throughout his whole season!
*Jenn Brown (Worlds Apart)- Jenn found immunity idols and was never afraid to speak her mind. The odds were against her, Hali, and Joe on her season. Joe went on to return in Cambodia, and Hali is returning on Game Changers, so here’s Jenn’s chance to prove why people loved her so much.
*David Wright (Millennials vs. Gen X)- David was a shy, timid, quirky guy and emerged into a powerhouse of a player, being targeted week after week but having the alliances to keep himself in. He would have won had he not been voted out in the final 4. Truly the embodiment of a Survivor.
*Cydney Gillon (Kaoh Rong)- Cydney was a challenge beast throughout the competition, and was the last Brawn standing, having taken on huge threats like Scot and Jason. She came short of the title by a fire making challenge, but made a lasting impression on that season.
*Reed Kelly (San Juan del Sur)- Reed was somewhat quiet throughout the season, but was still liked by many. When he went off on Missy at tribal council, proceeding to call her “The Wicked Witch,” he easily became a favorite, and one of the best final tribal council speakers of all time.
*Holly Hoffman (Nicaragua)- Holly was a mother figure to many, and went on to steal so many people’s hearts on Nicaragua. She was too strong of a threat to be in the final tribal, but has been awaiting a return for a long time, and is getting the chance to win it this time.
*Eddie Fox (Caramoan)- Eddie was part of the Three Amigos with Malcolm and Reynold, and ended up outlasting them both, and even stealing Andrea’s heart (wait…didn’t I say that earlier about another contestant??). He was a fun guy, and strong in challenges, but never got to that final tribal council. This is his chance to make it.
*Hannah Shapiro (Millennials vs. Gen X)- Hannah was chaotic and quite the underdog in the beginning of the game, but once she made strong ties with Ken, David, Adam, Zeke, and many other players, she was able to make it all the way to the final tribal council. Without all of those incredible players helping her, maybe she’ll be able to play a more individual game while still being a favorite to many.
*Cliff Robinson (Cagayan)- Cliff is an interesting case because he is both Survivor AND celebrity. But, he is definitely a Survivor Favorite, since his first moments. He was likable off the bat, but never got the chance to really shine, except for in challenges. Fans were sad to see him go so early, and his elimination set the course for the rest of the game, including Tony’s rise to power.
*Lisa Whelchel (Philippines)- Also both a Survivor and a celebrity, she was voted the Sprint Fan Favorite for a reason. She started the game incredibly emotional, but went on to become a strong player, and great alliance member, going all the way to the final tribal council! Maybe she can do it again!
Here are your Celebrities:
*Neil Patrick Harris (Actor)- NPH is ditching the suit and going to the island. Having acted on Broadway, television, and film, now he’ll get to act his way through the social game, and prove his strength in challenges!
*Laila Ali (Boxer, daughter of Muhammad Ali)- After competing on several celebrity cooking shows, “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and “Dancing with the Stars,” Laila is ready to add one more show to her list. She is strong in the ring and outside, and is ready to take on this game.
*Dennis Rodman (NBA Legend)- Performing on “Celebrity Apprentice” got him back in the spotlight, but he was a huge star when he was younger in his glory days. Can he still compete just as competitively at this age? We’ll see!
*Rosie O’Donnell (Comedienne)- Often known better as “Donald Trump’s biggest enemy,” she has been in the media for as long as we can remember. She will get to speak her mind on Survivor, and try to prove that celebrities can play just as hard as the castaways.
*Javier Colon (Singer, first winner of “The Voice”)- He is often known as the first person to win, “The Voice,” and maybe he’ll be the first person to win a celebrity edition of Survivor! He went from nobody to celebrity, and now he has the chance to be the ultimate celebrity.
*Marla Maples (Actress and Donald Trump’s ex-wife)- She is known for some tv appearances, but mostly for being Donald Trump’s ex-wife, and since their divorce, she has been out of the spotlight. But following her “Dancing with the Stars” appearance, she’s here to regain the spotlight.
*Tyler Oakley (Internet Star)- Tyler Oakley had his shot at reality TV on “The Amazing Race” and just missed the win. He is now here to compete in an even harder game, while keeping the same entertaining personality that people know him by.
*Renee Elise Goldsberry (“Hamilton” Actress)- She was seen last year on stage in “Hamilton,” and is now taking on more history! She is incredibly passionate and determined, and should be entertaining to see on this season!
*Gary Busey (Oscar-nominated Actor)- The man, the myth, the legend. He’s done “Celebrity Apprentice.” He’s done “Dancing with the Stars.” He is crazy, but he’s here to play!
*Laverne Cox (Actress)- Laverne Cox has been seen in “Orange is the New Black,” but also as a figure for Equal Rights and LGBTQ Rights, being one of the most successful transgender actresses of our time. She is incredibly inspirational, and let’s see if she can inspire her other contestants on the island.
