PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: There was plenty of chaos at the Castaway camp. RC, having been blindsided by John siding with Bret and Leif, was furious and decided to go to John. John explained the situation and thought that Morgan was too dangerous and would get them all in trouble, and Spencer was someone strong to keep around for challenges. RC didn’t like it, and did the unthinkable, going to Spencer (who she just tried to vote off) for an ally. RC said how Spencer was a target because he was a good player and only because she respected his gameplay so much. Spencer said that he would love to take out John, who was a clear social beast. Spencer and RC had a new unexpected alliance, but RC decided to apologize to John for freaking out. John was happy that they were back on track, and decided that Spencer could go next. At the Big Brother camp, Paul was putting on a comedic routine by the fire, prompting Derrick to go speak to Amanda. Derrick finally approached Amanda and said that getting out Paul would be a smart move, seeing as how his social game was almost too good. At the challenge, it was announced that BOTH tribes would be going to tribal council, and someone would win immunity from each side. The Big Brother tribe was up first, and the tribe randomly chose the Puzzle challenge. Out of the gate, Paul and Derrick appeared as the front runners, with Amanda shortly behind. Amanda knew she needed it, but Paul inched in front and won it all. At the Castaway tribe, in the physical challenge, the contestants had to race across balance beams carrying huge bags of sand, and Spencer defeated the pack, with RC in a distant second place. At the Big Brother camp, Paul celebrated, while Amanda was worried of her outcome in the game. She asked Derrick if he’d still be down for voting out one of Paul’s closer alliance members. Derrick lied to Amanda and said that he would vote out Natalie, because she was a strong threat to win it. At tribal council, however, the entire tribe voted for Amanda, sending her packing, and upset that she couldn’t make it far this season. At the Castaway beach, Spencer, RC, and Mad Dog met about taking out John, and were trying to figure out whether Leif or Bret would be the easiest to sway, and went with Leif. Leif, however, when he heard the plan, told Bret and John, and John was upset. John talked to RC, asking why in the world she would vote him out, saying he had her back 100%, but RC said she couldn’t trust John after the last vote. John told RC to trust him, and vote out Mad Dog like the rest of the alliance. At tribal council, John, Bret, and Leif voted for Mad Dog, and Mad Dog and Spencer voted for John. It was up to RC, and she decided to trust John’s word and vote for Mad Dog. Mad Dog was upset to go home, but proud that she made it this far, farther than on Australia. The game seemed pretty united, except for Spencer, who realized he was a Dead Man walking.
