After successfully sending Roger to Exile Island and leaving just three original villains in the game (Cartman, Kaiba and Trixie), this began to make everyone else start to think about breaking up the heroes, since they now had the numbers to do so. Fluttershy and Trixie remained a duo, as did Kaiba and Yugi, but everyone else was still technically a free agent of sorts.
When Trixie returned from Exile Island for the second time, she began to grow weary of all the humans and how they started to think of her as a threat to win the game due to just how strong and likeable she really was. After Fluttershy won immunity, half the tribe seemed determined to break up the pony duo first over the Yu-Gi-Oh duo. Fluttershy foolishly left her ally Trixie vulnerable when she instead sent Omi to Exile Island following her immunity win. Her reasoning was that she didn't want Trixie to be alone for the third straight time. Trixie, of course, didn't find this really that thoughtful at all.
Cartman began to cause havoc around camp, since he knew he was the next to go, but Kaiba and Yugi both talked with him about voting out Trixie if he wanted to stay alive. Cartman, naturally, joyfully agreed to this plan. Batman decided to join them for the moment, since he felt more comfortable talking with humans than ponies and mice (Pikachu). Trixie tried to talk with Batman and Yugi, explaining that they should not work with Cartman and Kaiba and it would only make karma bite them later.
At tribal council, Batman, Cartman, Kaiba and Yugi explained how pairs were deadly in the game. Fluttershy and Trixie both accused Kaiba and Yugi of being the same thing, to which Kaiba coolly explained that Yugi is not his friend and just because they are from the same world doesn't mean that they are together. Despite the obvious lie, no one could ever read Kaiba's expressions to see through it. Trixie angrily states that while Kaiba has no problem being a liar, she openly admits that she likes Fluttershy and the fact that they may have been rivals at one point didn't stop her from wanting to work with her in the game. Kuki finds this very touching, and due to her young and inexperienced mind, refuses to flip to the adults and remains true to the ponies. Pikachu, however, decides to flip and make the vote 5-3 in favor of Trixie. However, just before the votes are read, Trixie pulls out the Exile Island immunity idol she found and plays it on herself, negating all five votes for her. Pikachu gets the other three votes, which not only shocks the yellow mouse, but shocks Batman and Yugi as well. Trixie tells them that while they were set on betraying her, she wasn't going to betray them. She wasn't evil. Since she knew Pikachu would flip, he got what he deserved.
On Redemption Island, Roger and Ursala find it hilarious that a hero was voted out before Cartman, or even Kaiba, and they have no problem tormenting Pikachu about his blindside. In return, Pikachu zaps them both with multiple Thunderbolt attacks. This weakens both of the villains, and allows Pikachu to steal the win in the duel the following day to stay alive. Once again to the chagrin of the remaining players in the game, Ursala beat out Roger and sent him to the jury.

After a very angry Omi returns from Exile Island to find Pikachu voted out, Trixie explains to him what happened. The monk proceeds to tell off Batman and Yugi for being sellouts, and accuses Cartman and Kaiba of using their evil ways to manipulate the heroes. Despite Omi's bluster, however, Eric Cartman makes everyone regret not voting him out by stealing yet another individual immunity win.
