Introducing season 5 of the most literate and detailed series around that actually gets effort put into it: Total Drama Survivor Crossover (TDSC). As should be the case, it's time to do an All-Stars! Listening to your thoughts and opinions on who you'd like to see return, and of course putting my own likes into the pot, 20 returnees are set to play one more time! To make things fair and even, five players were picked from each of the past four seasons. While the gender equality differ from each season's selections, there are still a total of 10 females and 10 males. Again, all of the suggestions and desires I got were taken into account, so if you see some odd selections, just deal with it. Also, Noah, Gordon, Dan and Trixie all will not compete, since this All-Stars is for non-winners only.
I was thinking of dividing the tribes into males versus females, but considering how most people tend to hate how One World went down, I figured it might not be the best idea. Then again, having four tribes with just five players each (to signify their seasons) didn't seem so hot either. Ultimately, I figured that using four tribes of five could potentially be unfair to certain all-stars if a tribe goes on a losing streak due to randomization (how winners are decided before you get to vote each time), so I'm doing males versus females. Eh, may as well try it, and no better way to try it than All-Stars!
No Redemption Island or Exile Island this season. No kidnapping twist, either. However, since this IS All-Stars, I've decided to include the Outcast Twist this time! What can I say? I rather loved the idea. When the time comes to do it, I'll randomly choose one of the two outcasts to return to the game, while you guys vote on the other one. But that won't be until the final 10 (which will then become the final 12). Other than that, there will be two immunity idols to be randomly found by both tribes, plus the merge idol, and that's pretty much it. At the first immunity challenge, the women put the females from Survivor One World to shame as they show the boys how it's done with an immunity win. The Amazons win the first immunity, but now it's time for the Warriors to vote out a male All-Star.
