With the powerful 301+ Tribe getting the win, it was time to send the YouTube users on the Goggle Plus Tribe to tribal council. Right after their loss, it was revealed that Brittani Taylor was awarded the very first Subscriber Idol of the game. This highly irritated Phil, who can't stand Brittani and has her as one of the worst YouTube channels. Following this, Phil starts to lead a brigade against the bad YouTube users on the island so that none of them win and make themselves even more popular than they already were. Highly respecting James and his work on movies and video games, Phil tries to make an alliance with him. However, seeing how loud and boisterous Phil was, not to mention how he was trying to alienate Brittani, Ray and Shane, James didn't feel comfortable with this.
James went to fellow video game enthusiast, Matthew, and told him about Phil's plans. After going off on a random tangent about how he wanted some Diet Coke, Matthew eagerly began to formulate a 'Survivor Theory' about how he and James can make the final three. It was very convoluted and confusing, and eventually James just got annoyed and walked away, leaving Matthew talking to no one but a random monkey in the nearby tree. James then found Christina and Lindy sunbathing on the beach and doing no work around camp, which irritated him. Ray soon approached James and, calling him one of the smartest people on the tribe, explained they should target a weak player first to try and keep their tribe strong against the other side. Plus, not knowing what Brittani would do with her idol, they figured it would be best to not do anything really big early on. After pulling in the eager Shane, and the inquisitive Megan and Rebecca, all five discussed who to vote out. Christina and Lindy were both weak and useless, but Phil was trying to stir up trouble and was fat and annoying.
At tribal council, the devious Brittani announced that she would be using her idol to make her vote count as two towards her target. Phil went nuts and waged war on Brittani for already starting her propaganda to get everyone to worship her. Phil said that they should all vote for Brittani, since she already said she wasn't going to use the idol on herself. Most everyone ignored Phil's ranting, with all the girls just laughing at his ridiculousness. James was asked who should be the tribe's first target, to which James stated it should be someone who isn't fit to help them moving forward on the early stages of the game. When it was time to vote, Brittani idol made her one vote against Ray count as two; she was voting for him because she wanted a huge threat gone sooner rather than later. She figured all the girls would vote the same way, and both Christina and Lindy did. Phil instead voted for Brittani. However, everybody else, including Megan and Rebecca, voted for Lindy. The shocked female YouTube designer was voted out in a crazy 6-4-1 vote.
