With the Google Plus Tribe remaining undefeated during the four-tribe split, the ladies were feeling incredibly happy and morale was running high. Jenna and Justine continued to play Megan and Natalie into listening to their every command, no matter what kind of merge or tribe split would come next. On the undefeated Subscribe Tribe, Buckley bonded with Doug and James, each one expressing their discontent with how the world was nowadays, but acknowledging that each of them could still find things that they loved and enjoy life doing it. Phil was busy having an argument with a pelican that he claims stole his fish he caught. On the Thumbs-Up Tribe, Anthony and Shane realized that the other one was incredibly dangerous, and began to campaign to get Rebecca to join them instead of the other. Rebecca made a top 10 list of the pros and cons of choosing to side with each boy, should it come to that. On the downtrodden 301+ Tribe, however, the morale was at an all-time low.
With the Subscriber Idol being more important than ever, both Felix and Toby were stunned and confused when Matthew got it yet again. Felix scolded his "Bro Army" in a confessional for not backing him up more, and Toby openly wondered if he really wasn't as great as he thought he was. Knowing that Matthew could easily just play his idol as a hidden immunity idol, and that's what he informed them he WOULD be doing, Felix and Toby began to beg Matthew to vote out the other person and not them. Felix pitched to Matthew that should he keep him, he would let him become a YouTube partner with him, give him 10% of all the money he got constantly for making crappy videos, and would be 100% loyal to him the rest of the game. Toby pitched to Matthew that Felix was not to be trusted due to how many people he controlled, and how he was a threat to sway jury votes should someone take him to the end, not to mention how Toby was stronger in challenges than a video gamer like Felix. Matthew sat on a rock overlooking the sea and had a long, thoughtful, inner discussion on what the best choice for his game was.
At tribal council, Matthew said he would be playing his idol once more as a hidden immunity idol, and acknowledged that he had to pick between voting out Felix or Toby, both of whom were gods on YouTube. After publicly making their pitches once more to Matthew, Felix called out Toby for being far more devious and dirty than him, while Toby argued back that Felix going any farther would be the stupidest decision ever. Matthew gave one of his trademark theories on the pros and cons that both Felix and Toby brought to the table, which made things incredibly awkward than Matthew rather nonchalantly showcased both boys' faults without really showing any emotion behind it. When it came time to vote, Matthew played his idol, and ultimately cast his vote to Toby, since he figured keeping the biggest threat around, Felix, would continue to keep the target off his back. A disappointed Toby Turner was voted out 2-1.

With the 301+ Tribe down to just two players, Felix and Matthew, both were stunned when another tribe swap would NOT be happening, nor would the merge. Instead, they had to do the next challenge just as two. As most would predict, both the Google Plus Tribe and Subscribe Idol came in first and second respectively once more, yet again pitting the 301+ Tribe and Thumbs-Up Tribe against one another for last. Thanks to a spirited effort by Matthew, the 301+ Tribe avoided a tribal council battle as they managed to beat out the Thumbs-Up Tribe.
