With the first tribe formations being put into play, the starting game merge would be put to the test to see how the formed relationships and alliances would hold up. On the Sexy Bob-omb tribe, Beyoncé was really wondering if she was just cursed as her bad luck continued. Harry, Justin and Miley were all incredibly happy to be on the same tribe, and all agreed that should they lose, it was an easy vote to oust Beyoncé once and for all. While the famous diva singer did her best to speak to Harry about not trusting Justin and Miley, the One Direction star knew better than to trust the pop star. Justin and Miley took the time to bond even further, with both of them discussing the mistakes they've made in life and really wondering if they could turn things around for the better.
On the Infant Sorrow tribe, Tim seemed to be the lone wolf, since Katy and Robyn were from the same alliance, and no one ever knew where Marshall's head was at. Marshall and Robyn both entertained Katy and Tim by performing their hit song 'The Monster' without any music, which both young musicians loved. Later, Tim spoke with Marshall to see if he was still on his side, and if they lose, they should either get rid of Katy or Robyn. Marshall was hesitant to commit to Tim, since he was partnered with Nicki, whom Marshall despised. Katy later on made the same pitch to Marshall, saying that Justin's alliance was ruling the game, and he would be best to join them so that they could try and take them out, starting with Tim if they should lose. Marshall was right in the middle, and didn't know what to do.
When the Zack Attack tribe lost, it seemed like Stefani would be the one in danger at first, seeing as how Demi, Nicki and Taylor were a part of the same alliance. They all agreed that Stefani had to go, since despite being relatively quite up to this point, Stefani was incredibly influential and could easily win if she made the end. Nicki, however, loved to stir up trouble, and even though the vote was incredibly simple, she wanted to make it more difficult than need be. Nicki went to Stefani with a secret plan to blindside Demi, since she wanted to play the same game Tim was with playing both sides to make the end. Realizing that this would only create a tie, however, Stefani went to Taylor and told her that Nicki had told her and Demi to vote against HER. Without discussing it with Demi, since Taylor was naive and always believed what everyone told her, this infuriated the country girl and made her rethink her strategy. Nicki just sat back and watched in delight.
At tribal council, Stefani was prepared to become the first member of the jury, knowing that the three girls sitting next to her were all together and would likely not turn on one another. Nicki happily stirred the pot by proclaiming just how untrustworthy females were, and that you could never trust them. Especially the young and stupid ones. This comment infuriated Demi and Taylor, with each of them calling Nicki a classless bitch. Nicki proudly accepted the fact that she was a bitch and didn't care what the world thought of her. When Nicki was asked if this was putting a target on her back, she mysteriously said that there was a bigger threat sitting at tribal council than her, and if they didn't see it, they were retarded. Thanks to Nicki thrusting everything into confusion, it would lead to an incredibly shocking vote. Demi tried to be mature and kept her vote on Stefani. Taylor, letting her anger once more get the better of her judgment, switched her vote to Nicki. However, as Nicki as hoped, both young girls deviated from the original plan and allowed both her and Stefani to vote against Demi. This led to a huge blindside, making the shocked Demi the first member of the jury in a 2-1-1 vote.

After the chaos that took place on the Zack Attack tribe, it was obvious that the game was just getting started. Interestingly, despite the drama that took place, the three-girl tribe managed to come together and win 1st place in the next immunity challenge. However, Justin's luck continued as his Sex Bob-omb tribe took 2nd place, saving them from tribal council as well, and sending the Infant Sorrow tribe there instead.
