First off, I am making my first Edgic for a Survivor season, and there it is if you want to look at it. I've narrowed down the winner to 3 most likely candidates, with four others still alive. Everybody else I have eliminated.
Anyway, so far, the season has been good. Despite us getting robbed of the amazing Mari FAR too early, we got vengeance when that bitch Figgy got her comeuppance. Most of the Millennials are annoying, and most of the Gen X are boring, but I still find myself liking the season. I think how strong my top 5 players are is what is keeping me engaged in the season (Zeke, David, Mari, Michaela, Adam), so I can put up with bullshit if it has enough awesome people for me to root for.
So, right now, I like this. And, if my Edgic is correct and one of my top 3 DOES win, it'll make for a great ending. Let's hope it continues!
I'm a little meh on some of these Like I wouldn't call Figgy OTTN5 at all this last episode, and Michaela was a lil' less P than credited for IMO but... I'll let this be
Kaseyhope101 I think Figgy's actions were OTTN5 because she was blatantly annoying Ken, Jessica and Adam with her silly romantic actions, because she purposely angered Zeke by mentioning Michelle and not him, acting like she was in charge and had nothing to fear, almost threatening Adam at tribal council...all of her actions were clearly shown as negative.
Michaela is someone I'm never 100% sure if to make her positive or mixed, but I think all her overwhelming positive moments easily overshadow any 'negative' ones she gets, so I simply cannot give her a mixed tone ever. Like, in the latest episode, she was yelling at Hannah a lot at the challenge, but then immediately Bret compliments her and everyone is happy with the result, so...it didn't matter. And then when she found Jay and Will with the idol, both of them were shown to be more negative on it than Michaela was. Basically, the edit is always supporting Michaela being shown as positive and in the right to counter ANY negativity she might have.
