It is your responsibility to manage your online presence and privacy on this site.
If you provide people with identifying information about yourself and they locate your photo online and post it here, that is a situation you will have to handle between yourself and that other person. If you are uncomfortable with the amount of information you have revealed about yourself here, we advise you to leave your account for 7 days and start over with a new account. We're not trying to be heartless - we know people are hurt by this sort of thing - but our policy has never been to ban someone the first time they post someone else's picture and we've come to realize that this is simply too difficult to enforce (since people are now using it as a tactic to get someone out of their games, and some of the photos aren't even of them) since we can't even prove who these photos are of that are being posted. If you don't like this change in policy, you can thank the people who report everything to advance their games for it.
When randomize returns to the site, if he wishes to change this decision, he can, but for now, we will not be punishing for this anymore.
konohavillage1 - No, we didn't. We abided by our policy that we've followed for a very long time. Blogs had very SPECIFIC warnings about this behavior and never once complained about his ban himself.
So I can post an obese person with someones face on tengaged to make fun of their weight, w/o getting banned because u can't prove that their actually the person in the picture.
Tengaged_Moderation You had a rule that allowed people to post pictures of other people as long as they were previously posted. The picture posted was posted before.
I guess you changed that rule since then, but the inconsistency is annoying.

I reported someone for posting my photo wayyyyyy before the whole blogs thing and you did shit about it. They got my photos off my Facebook and photos I did not post on here. You realize by not banning people weeks ago for doing it then you are giving them permission to harass us even more?
Randomize doesn't care about the users though, so you're not gonna have to worry about him overturning this rule.
I don't think the pictures are really the problem anyways, I think the harassment is really the core issue. If people are harassing people, they should be punished. There is no reason for it.
I mean "_____ is an asshole!" blog after getting backstabbed is understandable, but repeated slanderous blogs about the same person should result in punishment.

I think if you are gonna change this rule u might as well change the others where you don't really know how someone looks.Not everyone bans someone because they want to move on in their games.Tengaged is supposed to be a fun and safe place but sadly you have people who will start harassing you in games because they didn't get their way.I also don't think it's right to tell people to blame those who report to advance in games when all they can do is report they can't ban the person. :/

Wouldn't a better course of action be to leave this as a bannable offense on the books but lenient unless extreme cases arise, instead of openly stating you won't ban people for it. Now they'll go crazy :S. Just delete the bullshit you get.
I have to agree that if someone posts their picture for the Tengaged public to see and then someone else posts it again that it should not be an offense to be banned for. What I don't like is my picture from Facebook being linked to this site if I did not authorize it. I had to remove all pictures of myself to protect my privacy on internet sites because of that linking thing :(
Yeah, like diva1 said, Facebook gets linked to Skype and people most of the time are unaware of this, meaning pictures can be taken from Facebook.
I do think this rule is going to attract more harassment but we'll see.
To everyone on here, don't complain about having your picture posted. For example, if you have facebook with hundreds of pictures, any of your friends could use your picture on ANY website, but ya don't go complaining about that sort of privacy. Yes, they may be your 'friends', but most of FB consists of people you hardly know.

I think it is kinda stupid cuase people should be mature enough to not take others photo's and moderations should be mods and actually not allow it it is a big situation to some people to me if they log in to facebook see you WTF that is somewhere thye can get it like reallt got to look at it that away but if they post it on the site yea nobody prob but yours but if thye go on facebook and take it thats fucked up dude
