...we are going to TRY to make things perfectly clear. We aren't trying to be mean here, but when we try to allow flexibility, users push things to the limit or try to argue about the "grey area." We know things aren't black and white, but unfortunately, we have to make things that way or we continue to get accused of being biased. So here are are few things that have caused some confusion lately:
1. Homophobic language - Homophobic words (e.g. "f*g" or "d*ke") are not allowed. Does not matter if you're gay or straight. Context doesn't matter. Just don't use those words, even with asterisks. Period. If you're reporting someone, then yes, you can send those words to us, but no quoting them.
2. Racist language - "N*gger" is not allowed.
3. Homophobic comments also unacceptable.
4. Use of the word "gay" - We're NOT going to ban for "That's so gay" or "You're gay." If you think someone calling you gay is an insult, you're the homophobic one, honestly.
5. Racist comments (or attacks on religion or nationality) - Any attacks on someone including their race. Example: "dirty Mexican" - banworthy. Making light of genocide (holocaust, etc.) is included in this.
6. You're responsible for everything you post. If you post a link that another user can change and add porn to, you will be banned. Yes, we will try to look into the situation and be fair, but unless there is DEFINITIVE proof that something happened that was outside your control and it was not that way when you first posted the link, you will not be unbanned. So assume that you can and will be permed if this happens.
7. Threats - If you DIRECTLY threaten physical harm toward another user you will be banned. Examples: "I will beat you up" or "I will kill you." If you WISH death upon someone "I hope you die," you will be blacklisted if this is your first offense of ANY KIND. If you've been banned before for ANYTHING before, "I hope you die" will get you banned.
8. Encouraging suicide - This is strictly forbidden. "Go kill yourself" or "If I were you, I'd hang myself" is banworthy.
9. "Go to hell." - Not banworthy.
10. Accusing users of pedophilia, being a sexual predator, drug use, murder, or anything else illegal - not OK! If you have never had a harassment-related offense (these include homophobic or racist comments, other threats, or other warnings about harassing users), we will give you ONE warning for accusing someone of illegal activity. If not, you will be banned immediately.

Tengaged_Moderation how is it homophobic language? They never said they hated gays or lesbians, they said it should be bannable, but that doesn't mean they said anything homophobic.
FrOntIeRpSyChIaTrIsT - YouTube has content that is designated for over 18, and also has a means of removing/reporting inappropriate content. Many YouTube accounts are banned or content is designated 18+. It's a larger site so it's harder to manage and it's pretty impossible to reach a moderator on there when content is removed, so the situation is overall different. If randomize wanted this to be a free-for-all, it could be. We as mods aren't so much personally attached to the rules, but we're simply trying to make things clear and fair for all.
Frontierpsychiatrist - I may not be a mod, but I believe that it's because this is supposed to just be a fun online game site, and most of this wouldn't be necessary.
Randomize does his best to try and keep everything a little bit more chill by making it only for 13+ year-olds, but there does still need to be some censorship.
While there are some rules that are ridiculous, nothing on this particular blog is out of order - as there should honestly be no reason that any of this is allowed(unless you feel that these type of personal attacks are necessary because someone nominated you).

Tengaged_Moderation if the words are homophobic, then why aren't you being banned? You just said two of them in this blog. If you aren't calling anyone those words, and you're just saying them in no offensive context, then why are you banning people for it?
For fuck sakes, if I say for example that I'm gonna beat the shit out of someone, I get banned. But if someone hacks the fucking website, they can walk away unscathed? What a load of BS. Quit being so goddamn censored with this site, we ain't 11. I hate to cause such a ruckus, but when Kez was previously told by a mod that her "bannable word" wasn't banworthy, it seems a lil shady to then see her get banned for it days later.

I don't blame Tengaged_Moderation the rules are generally changed to fit the consensus of what people seem to want, and the majority of people on here are petty and pathetic and report over the slightest offense and they're the ones to blame for the tight rules... on a website where people can actually take insults and drama (and it's ironic that people can't since that's what this website is centered around) rules would be a lot more lax and we could all co-exist and defend ourselves instead of relying on authorities to dish out bans for relief.
If someone is 11 on this site, we have no way of finding that out, as they submitted their info, but if they tell someone else, they WILL be banned for it

Etaco75 - Yes, users can't do it. We have to explain in some way as to what words can't be used. So obviously, they have to be posted (censored) so you are aware that you cannot use those words. If not, everyone would just comment saying "what words are you talking about". It's just a clarification. And about the top part, even though most of us DO understand what is meant - think of it like court; though we may know what they mean, it's like it would never hold up, because they could just say that they actually meant that, even though we know they didn't, there's no way to prove it.

As an outspoken advocate for a lot of things, I really do not think that people saying "I hate gays" should be bannable. Forgive me for playing devil's advocate, but people are allowed to make their own opinion known. If they don't like gay people, then that is their right. If someone says they hate black people, they can say that, it is their right. However, just because they hate a prejudiced group of people DOES NOT MEAN that they should be banned. I think that bans should only stand for offensive or derogatory language towards a user. If someone makes their opinion known, but chooses not to use derogatory/offensive language, I don't think they should be banned. That is just me 2 cents though.

For example, if I'm in a crookies, and someone is mad that I nominated them, since they know that calling me a "fa***t" would get them banned, they could just rage post "I HATE GAYS" the whole time, which IS another form of harassment.

Your ways of "moderating" this site are faulty and corrupt and that is the reason 90 % of this website cannot stand moderators, because to be quite frank they have no idea what the hell they are doing. This website was at its best when there wasn't any moderation. People were free to do what they want and have an opinion. Nowadays we have pathetic people who can't take being called a loser. In real life, they're gonna be called much worse things so it really makes no difference on here.

Tengaged_Moderation i think this is bare on too strict- is there any way you'd consider giving users warnings via mails before a full on ban for something trivial, say if they made a threat by accident? couple questions tho 2cool4school got banned for saying something like 'I'll p*t y** in the gr**nd m*te' to someone, and it was perceived as a threat and he got banned. If someone makes a joke like tha, even though it's ambiguous and clearly meant jokingly, is it bannable? Just checking lark

No that isn't being homophobic at all. If someone says "That's so gay" that is being stereotypical and rude. Evening accusing someone of being gay is wrong. You don't know what they are going through irl, and they probably are here looking for peace and support. So I think anyone using the word gay in any negative way should at least be warned.
