Just wanted to post a few reminders to those of you who send reports to Tengaged_Moderation:
1. If you are reporting an incident in a game, your report must include a link to the game as well as a screenshot of the offending material (you can upload the screenshot to tinypic.com and send us the link). If you don't do all of the above, your report may be ignored. We don't have time to respond to each report and say, "Please send us a screenshot" or request other incomplete information.
2. If you are reporting an offensive blog, please take a screenshot AND send us a the link to the blog.
3. If you're reporting a message you receive via mail, please send a screenshot of your message in your inbox with the other messages, and then a screenshot of the message itself, opened. Once again, no Chrome please.
4. If someone posts an offensive image in a game or blog, please take a screenshot, send a link to the game or blog AND use the "report" button. We aren't alerted when someone uses the report button automatically, so we still need an actual report via mail as well.
For all reports -
1. All screenshots should include the FULL page and should not be cropped.
2. Please use a web browser besides Chrome.
3. If we find that you are faking screenshots or reports, you will receive a ban DOUBLE the length of the ban the person you're reporting would have received.
4. If you are good at determining whether or not screenshots are fake and can demonstrate it clearly to moderation AND handle confidential information about reports, please message Tengaged_Moderation. We might be able to use your services from time to time.
5. Please review the rules on our profile and in previous blogs before making a report.
6. Sending more reports to us does NOT make it more likely that you'll become a mod in the future. When looking for Moderators, we (including randomize) appreciate mature users who can solve issues peacefully without getting moderation involved. "Snitches" in general do not impress us!
If looking for a quicker response to an issue, feel free to send it to Tengaged_Moderation and amartin. Do NOT harass moderators on Skype, Facebook, etc. Porn is an urgent issue. Spamming in a game isn't.
Tengaged_Moderation This is bull because you are setting these rules in now, and not taking action on what happened to me before. If you will actually go by these rules, then BigBruv should get a 6 day ban. Please read my blog about it and read the comments, I'm not the only one to find this ridiculous, and I want justice.
Tengaged_Moderation I understand that porn is an issue but why can't we report someone who is still breaking the rules? It is sounding like for the lesser offenses, you seem to not care at all, but isn't that the point of reporting someone, and your job? To enforce rules? :S
tyboy618 - yes, etaco75 is correct. You can report anything that's against the rules, but do not send multiple messages or harass moderators off-site for minor issues.
Tengaged_Moderation If you consider my case a minor issue, which compared to a lot of issues on here I guess it is, it should still be looked at more closely. I would have peacefully accepted my ban if it was for a legitimate reason, but the fact that those mails are so BS'd and was not caught makes me angry, like anyone else would be.
to sum up what Tengaged_Moderation said if you wanna report HAVE A SCREENSHOT...If you wanna be a mod don't first be a crybaby snitch...There saved you the time of reading it all...
tengaged_moderation it's honestly retarded and inconvenient as SHIT that most users here use chrome, but have to download/open a new browser just to make a report. Obviously if someone can prove the message was faked, they would do it. This was never much of an issue before and I feel like the punishment of faking a report is enough for people NOT to do it, so why should people have to use another browser just to send a dumb report to tmod.
So you ban me because spam isn't an important issue.... all i did was 1 quad tripple post.... and you don't ban other users! I don't like this blog! This isn't very mature how you said "snitches" That's rude! I could write a more professional blog than this or any other of your blogs any day!
tengaged_moderation you ask for a link to what we r reporting, but when it its the case that it's porn and you will send the link of the picture, I.e. http://www.tengaged.com/message/bamold1999/89711753 . If that was a picture of a d*ck wouldn't I get banned bc it's a link to porn.
