For Anyone that's not familiar with the Refugee Crises in Europe At Moment < maybe this might interest you. I kinda needed to say this just to vent my own frustration at whats going on.
Its an absolute joke that human rights violations like this are still going on in the world Today. imagine if something like this happened your family and you were forced to make a dangerous trip to reach freedom all they are trying to do is find peace an give their family a shot of survival.
Coming from War Torn countries like Afghanistan, Syria & Libya & Iraq , these people are making dangerous Trips long trips through deserts in unlivable conditions. Often Attacked by Violent gangs robbed and murdered, woman raped and along with children sold into Salvary!
Refugees coming from Africa are often forced to work back the debt of their fare to cross the Mediterranean Sea in dire conditions, abused , starved, living in filth. These Smugglers / Criminals will charge a fortune for a refugees place on an overcrowed fishersmans boat to sail across the mediterranean. These boats are not designed for such large amounts of people and often capsize. As a Result thousands of People have perished crossing the "the Journey of Death" Italy and Greece have reported hundreds of bodies washing onto their beaches on regular basis!
When arriving in Non EU member states The Refugees are then forced to walk and trek to the European Union Border! In Particular the Hungarian Border. Others Choose to pay large amounts to money to be packed by smugglers into small vans with no facilities or hidden in the inside the skeleton of a Car. Notable this is happening at the Border In Spain. In Austra alone last week 71 people were found dead in the back of small van. They all smothered from a lack of Oxygen!
In some EU nations they are building a Wall/ barrier to stop these Desperate People! In particular In Hungary , Shame on you Hungary! In Macedonina Refugees are forced to wait weeks/months to packed onto overcrowded Trains where people are literally hanging out of Windows! In Greece refugees are literally Locked Up, Imprisoned. In Spain Family's are Shot at and beaten as they attempted to climb over barriers. In the Uk patrol border near Near Calais France. They are actually using and developing new technology in an attempt to Stop Refugees from passing through! Resulting in Thousands forced to live in cramped conditions and poor camps for YEARS!
Shame on You Goverments of Europe! Give These People the same rights that you have taken for granted. All they want is a chance of Survival. Have you forgotten your long history of War , death and displacement and those that came to your Aid? Do The Right Thing Europe! Give these people the chance to rebuild their Lives.

Hmm while I sympathise with the plight of the refugee and I am generally pro immigration the countries involved can't just open their doors and allow everyone in. This is not a just a European problem it is a world wide problem.
The USA also has its problems with those coming from South America.
Why don't they go to their countries where the official religion is Muslim tho? I'm okay with immigrants but if they do nothing and only eat sleep and poop then I'm ready to kick their ass
Well i agree, This is a very easy gateway for groups such as ISIS to get into Europe without much moderation. Also the cost on the countries that these people are gonna live in will be horrendous. Unemployment will rise, overcrowding in cities will become an issue. They should have a cap on the amount each country lets in because otherwise its gonna cause a very bad effect on the economy, and coming from Ireland tepr you should know how fragile our economy is. But i do empathize and agree with your views :)
These People are coming from Wars. Oh dare anyone have the Right to tell them "You cannot enter" Unfortunately its Reasons like that that thousands more people will die , because countries of the EU are to self centered about the consequences on their pockets! @damo i do agree on those points , but look at all the Irish People that left to the UK and america? Including my Parents , would they ever have had a chance to support a family if they were not able to take the oppurtunity ? And ISIS well ISIS are already in Europe, and im sure they can easily make their way in and out regardless, comparing the potential risk of terrorists gaining easy access to europe to the survival of innocent people fleeing war torn countries is in my EYes not realistic!
we have an over stretched nhs, a benefit system that is heavily abused, a house shortage forcing families onto the streets. i took a pay cut in the austerity measures because of the debt the banks put this country in. its a world wide problem, and its humanitarian crisis that needs sorting, buts it not just an easy matter of opening the doors and letting them in. this country is at capacity, where do we put them? what needs to be stopped, is the human traffickers. those preying on the fear of these poor people.
This is one of the most ridiculous posts I have read in a long time. Refugees are supposed to go to the nearest, safest country possible: these people have absolutely no need to travel thousands of miles to get into the haven that is Europe. These people are not refugees.
This is really crazy...but I don't see why they'd go to places like Greece for example, where they are in bankruptcy and literally cannot help anyone, when they can't even help themselves atm. =(
I mean I get why they want to leave their Mother country, but why not travel to closer countries, that could give them a better chance/opportunity.
A lot of them are currently trying to enter the UK from France, and as much as I agree they deserve a better life, I don't think they should come to the UK. The UK struggles as it is, let alone having thousands of people trying to enter

While I don't live in the UK, this blog is incredibly ignorant, there's a lot more that goes into running a country than what you think. You can't just open your door to everyone to come in and then expect everything to be fine. A lot of countries in Europe are already struggling financially and economically with what they have, let alone if they have thousands upon thousands of people immigrating to their countries every day. While yes it is sad that those people are living in a very bad place right now where there is war, it's not Europe's responsibility to take every single person in and take care of them.
Europe has it's own major issues and they don't need more right now.
You're an idiot who clearly knows NOTHING about the European Union, immigration laws or regulations nor the current situation in the majority of European countries.
To all the people who called me Stupid , Ignorant and a idiot! Calm down. I'm not Saying countries in Europe are not suffering already has it is. And I'm certainly not having a go at the residents of this countries. I never once said that. I am just shocked at how little and frankly unorganized The EU is to deal with this crisis. An because of this so many people suffer or die! Its just very sad and i feel they can and should do more.
