Looking people in the eyes while talking
- is supposed to be a sign of respect but it's so awkward to me. I'd rather stare at their nose or something (I can tell if someone is staring at my mouth or nose and not my eyes). Idk why but like when I talk to someone and we're looking away and then we look at each other it feels like a sexual porno and it's awkward to me.. it's like stop looking at me. It's not necessary to stare me down, you can continue doing what you're doing while you speak to me. (I'm talking about like when you're like on the computer & someone is behind you and wants to speak to you and expects you to turn all the way around and stare at them)
K another weird random blog that popped up in my head.
edit: I also learned that I focus on what someone is saying way more when i'm staring at something else, but if i'm staring at them i'm too focused on them and not what they're saying and i'm just like "Mhm.." and head nod and have no clue what they're saying.
