There's always something good that happens.

2007 We had Britney flop to Gimmie More
2009 Kanye cut off Taylor Swift
2010 Gaga wore the raw meat dress
2011 Bey revealed her pregnancy
2013 Miley

This year the performances are meh.. looking back at the list of performers from the wikipedia this year isn't great.. but it could be worse.

Usher, Ariana Grande (feat. Zedd), Iggy Azalea (feat. Rita Ora), Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, 5 Seconds of Summer.

I expect this show to be the Bey show w/ her 8 nominations, winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, apparently she's gonna respond to the rumors about her divorce, and she's performing.

But in the end, Ari or Sia will still the show w/ their stupid award win for Best video of the year. Then 5 seconds of Flop will close out the show after the horrible disappointment of the final VMA award.
