LaTasha - Survivor: Cagayan - 6th
After years and years of black females flopping on Survivor. We FINALLY got one that had a CHANCE to win the game. Tasha was strong from the very start when she orchestrated Garrett's boot after he outed that she & J'tia needed to be split up. From that moment on Tasha was one of my faves. After merging with only 2 other people on her original tribe, I expected Tasha to be toast ESPECIALLY when Kass flipped and ruined the season.
Well Tasha was more of a threat than anyone expected. As one of the biggest underdogs of the season she randomly pulled out 3 immunity wins IN A ROW. Almost 5 if you think about it. (The first time Spencer won, she placed 2nd and when she lost immunity after 3 wins, she lost by 1 number). She's one of the biggest rookie female challenge threats in a while, she broke Vecepia's record and sadly enough is only the 2nd african american female to EVER win immunity at the merge. She almost tied Kelly's record from Survivor: Borneo for most immunity wins in a row for a female.
The moment Tasha lost immunity at the final 6, my heart was broken. I knew it was game over. I thought I would be able to handle her elimination since I knew she wasn't going to win. Well the moment Jeff read her name.. my heart dropped. I felt sick to my stomach and I didn't even know why. I felt like she was such an underdog the entire season and she had more to prove. It broke my heart as her torch was snuffed and she left tribal council. She's easily one of the most likable characters on the show in a while and I really hope she gets redemption which is why she is ranked #1 as the saddest Black Girl Elimination of 2014 out of 10+ females.
