is that you'll be eliminated if you do not sing a slow emotional song or an upbeat song with a loooooooooooooooong high note at the end.
If you don't do either of these, you won't last. You can't just simply sing a song and put on a good performance without an overdramatic run at the end because it's not good enough. Even though the same people do it on a weekly basis and it gets old. Yes we know you can do a falsetto, we know you can hold your breath long, we know you have strong lungs BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU A GOOD SINGER. THAT'S NOT ALL THERE IS TO SINGING. I wish people could see songs and have fun performing them and last long.
Kinda like Anita performing All about that Bass on #TheVoice she got lucky, if anyone else performed that without screaming some long annoying note at the end, they would've went home.
