Honestly it's disgusting either of them but people were already pissy about Beyonce due to the cultural appropriation thing from the Coldplay video so probably her

Beyonce is more hated but I hate Macklemore because he's honestly just using this whole white privilege to his advantage when black artists have been saying the same thing he did but yet he gets praised because he "respects" the culture but uses it

Lacrosseallstar Don't act like Macklemore did this because its relevant atm when the first version of the song was released when he was irrel and black people need white allies and he does respect the culture so please don't act like he doesn't. He has a platform and uses it to help minorities just like he did with same love.

mathboy9 what's unneccessary about it?
jadennator1 he releassed a song called white privilege
Sent by Timster,Feb 9, 2016
eoin lacrosseallstar I actually do support macklemore. If anything making that song hurt him considering a majority of his fan base are straight white males and white women. I thought it was great for him to speak up.

borisxborisette it's always going to be risky to make a political statement in a song, especially about race.

Bey. her song has been going more viral and created more controversy than Macklemore's song imo

I find it funny how people hated on Beyoncé for the "Hymn for the Weekend" video, but nobody gave a shit for the "Lean On" video. Bullshit

jmez2612 WOW just saw the video for the first time. I didn't realize that song was so popular with a billion views and I couldn't find a comment on cultural appropriation and tbh the way the girl dressed and danced compared to the other dancers looked like she was making a mock of it. Interesting..
