Evel Dick has said this a few years back and I agree with him that they're trying to make the show TOO MUCH ABOUT THE SHOW and not about the contestants themselves which is what it was originally about. I don't want to hear another superfan tell us how they're excited to be on SURVIVOR. How about tell us how you're excited to be on an adventure in the middle of Fiji? I don't want to hear the show's title within the show at all anymore. Same with BB which is even worse.
Fault the show for including it in the edit but not the players. To get on would be fucking amazing and personally if it happened I wouldnt shut the fuck up about it for like years afterwards. I think people are more than allowed to gush a bit, but yeah it shouldn't really be inluded in the edit, as if CBS is trying to remind you "hey this show is so great!"
