18 Survivors begin the game, They have been put into three tribes of six, each tribe representing a different Japanese god. The first tribe, that will always wear yellow:
As all three tribes came together on their maps, the game had begun.
"Welcome to the game, the first thing you'll do as a tribe is make a choice. Play hard or play safe. If you choose to play safe, your tribe will be safe from the first tribal council, if you choose to play hard, you and any other tribe that chooses this will compete in an immunity challenge for safety...BUT each tribe member will choose a satchel, in one of the satchels for each tribe will be a hidden immunity idol.
IF all three tribes play safe, then there will be no idols in the game and you will all compete in the first immunity challenge, being in danger of being the first tribe to lose and the first person to be voted out."
After much deliberation RAIJIN AND KAGUTSUCHI decide to play hard. SUIJIN decides to play it safe.
SUIJIN is safe from the first vote, RAIJIN and KAGUTSUCHI will compete in head to head challenge: a mile race moving a heavy wagon uphill.
On Raijin Insanity, ForyouSelena, and TotalDrama slow their team and KickAss is leading them on and motivating the group.
Kagutsuchi is being lead by DumbGinger and Ticofernandez slows them down
but by a long shot, Kagutsuchi beats Raijin meaning Raijin will be the first tribe sent to tribal council.
Island life:
Sujin
on Suijin rellizuraddixion, TeamJacz, and Benp428 start to bond while TeamJacz and Useamint begin to get close as well. Maxiphone stays neutral with his tribe and tries to stay under the radar, Laughingoutloud, on the otherhand, is a bit shy and doesn't speak much leaving a small divide between him and the rest of the tribe.
Kagutsuchi:
after their immunity win and reward of the satchels every person is instructed to open their satchel in private... 5 satchels have a stick, one has the Hidden Immunity Idol. Bowling4Fun smiles when he sees how lucky he is to see the idol now in his hands! When they all get back together everyone says that they got the stick and no one is really willing to make a guess on who has the Idol. Ausino and Peccadillo start bonding over their love of swimming and fishing, while Legacy, Dumbginger, and Bowling start their own bonds while building a shelter. Ticofernandez, while trying to recover from being bad at the immunity challenge looks for food...and fails.
Raijin:
Even though they lost the immunity challenge, they all receive a satchel as well. Insanity quickly pockets his new hidden immunity idol in his shorts. aj1111 and Insanity have a quick bond, while ForYouselena starts to get close with Kickass93. CGY is proving to work hard and TotalDrama is nervous about the vote and talks to CGY about who to vote for. They are having a tough time choosing between ForYouselena and Insanity who both did pretty terribly. Trying to make the votes between Foryouselena and insanity, Totaldrama goes to Aj1111 and Insanity and tells them to vote for ForYouselena and then goes to kickass and foryouselena and tells them that the other side wants to vote them and they should vote out Insanity.
CGY is watching his friend, TotalDrama and figures out that he's borderline retarded. to CGY, Totaldrama is more of a liability than an ally and now CGY needs to find a new group to work with. While out swimming CGY notices how large Kickass's package is...choice is made, he's working with Kickass and Foryouselena. He reveals everything to the Kickass and foryouselena who are unsure if they believe him....
Tribal council.
CGY and Totaldrama come in feeling confident...while Insanity is tempted to use his Idol...but decides to risk it seeing that it feels too soon, Kickass and Foryouselena still don't know who to trust and who is lying.. during tribal council CGY let's everything out that totaldrama did and a yelling match erupts between them.
