1. Actually Surviving - They do not focus so much anymore on the hunger, dehydration and exhaustion, I know the game has changed but this was a great aspect as u get to see the players develop and struggle through the game opposed to just alliances and backstabbing.
2. Culture: Such as China, when they go to countries and they would interweave the culture within the game and link the game to the traditions of the land and myths and legends surrounding their society. It added a great sense of adventure within the game.
3.Locations: Going to places that are new all that needs to be said, it got to the point in samoa where I could recognise the same palm tree lol.
4. Backstories/ character development - this is something that allowed us the viewers to feel connected to the characters and develop a strong bond and love for the show. It allowed us to want to see our favourites stay for more than just to be a vote.
5. Good People staying - when those who stayed were kept because they were providers and strong physical strength to help their team win. I do agree that social aspect is as important but certain people only stay because they backstab constantly
6. Humour - the castaways actually having fun together and chilling out or something random opposed to as if they are constantly strategizing. I know that's important but the show has to show some level of normality to make it seem relatable.
These are something's I miss. I d like survivor a lot but I miss these small aspects but I know if it stayed the same it would be boring
OMFG THIS IS LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME LIST OF MY STUFF I MISS AND WAS THINKING ABOUT!

Like I mss like in palau when they got to meet the fisherman and stuff and learn eat with the locals
To be fair @ #1, the locations just havn't been as rough as they used to be. Samoa was the last season where they really struggled with the rain. But Tadhana did get survial stuff this episode.
Philippines and One world had really good character development too.
You know that it's a reality show right? There is no such thing as character development, because it is real, and they are not characters. But still plus see.
1. Did you not see last week's episode where they talked about Katie's gross feet? Also most of them have done it before so we probably won't get a lot of complaining from the Returnees.
2. They usually go on rewards and do this stuff...
3. I get that they love to go to Samoa and stuff (probably because it's cheep idk) but I don't see how going to some other island will impact anything
4. Abi Colton Brandon Dawn Brenda are just a few
5. Caleb flipped on the guys and voted out Brad like 2 weeks ago.
6. Idk I mean some parts are funny, but that's not the main aspect of the show.
