The castaways arrived in the desolate rainforest of Japan to find out that they would be divided into 4 tribes composed of 5 players based on the element that suited their game style. The tribes quickly distinguished themselves as cooperative and fragile. The fire team quickly developed strong bonds founded behind the leader in Brendan while the earth tribe was quickly divided as Jane refused to play second fiddle to James on her tribe. This lack of harmony caused them to struggle to survive and find food and water. On the air tribe, todd was immediately viewed as a massive threat with the other players viewing him as an easy first vote if they had to go to tribal but Heidi had some other plans in her mind. On the water tribe the cool and laid back nature of the players allowed them to get along and become cohesive following the guidance of Aaron. At the immunity challenge the lack of cooperation from the earth tribe led to them finishing in last place. Back at camp James `wanted Jane gone because he believed that she didn't listen during the challenge and caused them to lose and was not friendly at camp in his opinion. Tina was pulled aside by Jane and asked to help another southern woman out and to get James out. James knew he had savage but greg was the swing vote. At tribal council Greg chose to stick with the men and sent Jane home by a vote of 3-2. Making her the first person voted out of Survivor, War of the elements.
Random.org states that at the immunity challenge the teams finish in the order:
1.Fire
2.Earth
3.Air
