- I don't play games often
- I don't keep up with Tengaged gossip/drama/cliques/etc
- I have a bad word in my username
- Several people said "No" to me being a moderator. Every voice matters!
- I have back stabbed people in games a few years ago
- I am currently half blind. How can I keep an eye on the site when I only have one good eye?
- I go by the rules rather than preferences. I will call out friends for cheating and that wouldn't make me a liked moderator.
- I have multies before. Like 5 or 6 in total. Not to help me out in anyway, but to experiment on the site. I found a bunch of glitches doing it though, good times.
- I've had 2 red noses in my Tengaged Life. My first was genuinely because I had 2 multies at the time.
- I ruthlessly won Stars by playing hard while also not being desperate for the win. When I play games which aren't charities/where I haven't befriended a newbie, I will try to go as far as I can. Otherwise, I volunteer to go out because I'll live with.... well...
- I don't have a great kpg.
- I put my family and friends above this website.
- I don't actively want to do it.
Do I think I'm capable to be a moderator?
Sure. I can put personal feelings aside and prioritise rules and regulations.
Do I really want the role?
Heckles no! But I would take it if it got offered to me.
Someone chatted to me about my mindset towards the role and I am more open to it.
You guys see me as close with Randomize or as if I'm some kind of vessel to communicate with him.
I'm not.
I am not a predictable candidate for moderation based on how he's chosen them before. I haven't given this site money, I don't have friends in high places, I haven't built a rapport with Rando.
To him, I'm just another person here. I'm not special.
But that's fine with me because I don't need to be.
I'm happy just being here for myself and doing what I want to do here. :)
If you don't wanna do it, end of discussion. You don't have to justify yourself or explain why you don't want to do it, no one can force you to if you don't want to.
Honestly, a lot of the reasons you posted are why you SHOULD be a moderator. We need somebody thats not biased and who doesn't play games or keep up with drama and stuff. That way it's easier to judge who to ban or rednose or whatever, instead of thinking, well they're my friend, what they did wasn't THAT bad.
But I understand if you wouldn't want the position, i think the biggest part of it is being able to put up with the backlash
I didn't have any type of relationship with him either johneh just told him to make me a mod. If you don't want to do it and put the time in then don't, but I do think you would be a great mod. I just never liked all the rules that were there and people took that as biased but I treated everyone the same lol.
But it is a lot of work and takes a lot of time for some of the things you have to do
