PREVIOUSLY on Big Brother, Candy & Chris won HOH, and Chris took on the responsibility of being HOH during the instant eviction. Chris put up James & Ry alongside Leslie, and the house decided to keep Leslie over James & Ry, surprising Candy as Leslie was the second houseguest evicted on the night. Candy (DR): I win HOH and I'm so excited, although this eviction kind of surprised me. I was the only one in the minority, which means my target is pretty clear for this week. James & Ry are the only pair left in the house and they have to go.

JB: Houseguests, please come to the living room.

Ry (DR): JB calls us into the living room and I have no idea what it's about. Candy is already HOH. Why are we here?
JB: Candy, this week is a special week to be HOH as we've already had an eviction this week. You will have to make tough choices throughout the week, and not just nominations. This is the first decision. You must choose one houseguest to be a Have Not this week. And you must make this decision right now.
Candy: Why you gotta do this to me Big Brother?
Davos: I'll take it Candy. It's OK.
Candy: You sure?
Davos: Yes. I'll do it.
Davos (DR): I volunteered to be a Have Not because I think this will gain me a lot of favor in the house, and I could use a little more of that as of late.
Candy: OK, I select Davos.
JB: Davos, you are a Have Not, but this week, being a Have Not might be a good thing because the only thing you have is safety. Davos, you are immune from nominations this week.
Davos: Nice. Nice.
Davos (DR): Karma, baby.
JB: Nominations will take place tomorrow. Good luck everyone.
Candy (DR): Davos wasn't my target, so luckily I picked him. My target this week is James & Ry, and I just need to find a pawn to go against them.

Chris: Bob is useless. He can't win the veto.
Candy: Exactly.

James & Ry, you all are the last pair in the game, and that makes you a threat. Bob, you are a good pawn because you can't compete in competitions for the time being and therefore, you can't come after me, so no hard feelings. This meeting is adjourned.
James (DR): Being against Bob is not good because that means we are the definite target. The veto has to fall our way, or else we are going home.
Candy (DR): These nominations combine the path of least resistance and getting out a big target for me in James & Ry. As long as they don't win POV, they will go home.
Chris (DR): I'm not happy with these nominations, and it makes me think that Candy is flipping sides to Adele & Armanti, and that's scary.

Adele (DR): I know that Candy wants me to not use the veto, but Ry is my friend, so I am probably going to throw this competition.

Chris: Houseguests, please head to the backyard for the veto competition.

Chris: Today's competition is called "Don't Be Fazed By the Maze" and here is how it works. This competition will take place in head-to-head matchups. First, you will go through the table maze and qualify for the top times. The bottom time will be eliminated and the next two times will face off first, and the winner will face second place. The winner of that matchup will take on the top qualifying time for the Power of Veto. James and Ry, you will both compete, and the top time will represent the pair during the elimination portion of the competition. If the both of you are the bottom two times, you will be eliminated. Does everyone understand?
Chris: Adele, you had the worst time and you have been eliminated.
Adele (DR): Getting eliminated first is exactly what I wanted. I just hope I'm not the replacement nominee.
Chris: Ry had the better time which means that she will represent James & Ry for the rest of this challenge.
James (DR): My fate is in Ry's hands. I trust her and hope she can pull this off.
Chris: Ethan and Candy had the two worst times and they will be the first matchup. The winner of that matchup will advance to take on Davos, and the winner of that matchup will take on Ry for the POV. Ethan and Candy, you are first.

Candy (DR): Ry & James won. That sucks. I have to put up a replacement, and this replacement is going to go, because nobody is going to want to evict Bob. I don't want to evict Bob because that'd be a waste of an HOH. The backdoor is in effect this week.

Ethan: Who do you want to put up?
Candy: I'm not sure yet.
Chris: I mean your only options are Adele and Armanti.
Candy: Yeah.
Chris: Armanti should go up, and if she or Adele don't go up, one of us will, and then we go home. And if you put one of us up, you're done. DONE.
Candy (DR): I don't like the tone Chris is using with me right now. We know what to do with the situation, and it is already settled. No need to beat it into the ground though.
Chris (DR): Armanti or Adele is going up and out and that is great for my game because then they can't go and manipulate Candy anymore. They are too good of players to stay in this game and they gotta go.
Candy: I probably have to put you up Armanti.
Armanti: It's OK. Do what you have to do.
Candy: I don't want to put you up though.
Armanti: Then don't. I have your back no matter what. The thing is though, if you put me up, I have the votes to stay.
Candy: Adele, Ry, James...
Armanti: And you break the tie.
Candy: Right.
Armanti: So if you put me up, we can get Bob out. But I have your back. I won't put you up in this game.
Candy (DR): Honestly, I really don't want to put up Armanti. I really like her. I'm pissed at Chris right now. Armanti treats me a lot better than Chris. Chris (DR): Pissed off beyond belief doesn't even describe how I feel. I was stabbed in the back by my partner in this house. I can't even believe it.
Candy (DR): Ultimately, I want Adele & Armanti's trust. I feel like I already have Chris's trust no matter what and I think I can get the votes to keep him.

Adele: So Chris is going right?
Candy: No, he's staying.
Armanti: I mean, why would you want Bob to go?
Candy: So Chris can stay. I put him up because I knew he would have the votes. I didn't think either of you would.
Adele: To be fair Candy, Chris wants us out. Bob can't win competitions. Why would we keep him?
Candy: Just please do it for me. OK? I helped y'all out big time, and y'all would really be doing me a favor here. If the two of you save him, so will Ethan and Davos and Bob will go.

Bob: Guys, it's been a lot of fun in here. I was put up here as a pawn. Respect the HOH's nominations and getting me out will hurt all of you. There is no reason to vote me out, so please don't screw up your game to keep Chris.

Chris: Candy flipped the first chance she got. And I was shocked.
JB: Did you think she would flip?
Chris: I always thought she might but not this early. I thought Ethan would've gone up before me as the replacement nominee to be honest.
JB: Do you think Candy made a mistake in evicting you?
Chris: Yes because even though we fought over keeping Adele & Armanti, I was always going to support her and I was always going to have her back and I was always taking her to the end. She must not have thought that was the case because then she wouldn't have put me up. Once she put me up, I knew I was done. Nobody was going to save Bob.
JB: Who do you think will win the game?
Chris: Ask me this question a week ago and I would've said me or Candy. Ask me this question now and it's Adele or Armanti. They've played the best game hands down and got their way this week in a very crucial week. I don't think Ry or James will win, or Bob or Davos, they float too much. Ethan is by himself, so he's screwed. And Candy will never go to final two over Adele & Armanti. Hell no.
JB: Chris, you played a great game. You're off to jury. Take care my friend.
Chris: Thank you very much.
