PREVIOUSLY on Big Brother, Emily brought together Culpepper, Derek, Jaxon, and Joshua to form the first alliance of the season, Bye Bye Bye. After Tom recommended Joshua as a target to Emily, Tom quickly became Emily's target. Tom was put on the block next to two pawns, Farrah and Jacob. The house learned of the BB POV Wheel and the Double Veto was in play. Christian and Jacob won the veto, and Emily expected to name a replacement nominee for Jacob, but when Christian used his veto to save Tom, all hell broke loose and Zach and Dana were put on the block. In an effort to salvage a rough HOH week, Bye Bye Bye planned to take Farrah out. However, Christian and Jacob were looking to bring Farrah in as an ally, so they targeted Zach. Both sides of the house vied for the remaining votes, and ultimately Farrah was saved and Zach was evicted 7-5. Tonight, either Dana or Farrah will receive immunity until jury, and the other will receive a permanent nomination until jury. Find out what goes down tonight on Big Brother!

JB: Houseguests, this competition is called "Bloody Hands" and here is how it works. I will ask a question based on a characteristic of the house. You will buzz in and if you buzz in first and get the question right, you must get your hands bloody and eliminate one of your houseguests from the competition. Christian: It sucks that Farrah is on the block, but the three of us are who matter most.
Jacob: Agreed.
Jacob (DR): I really like this group I have with Dana and Christian. Farrah and Tom are also people I consider allies but if I had to choose between Dana and Christian and Farrah and Tom, I choose Dana and Christian every time.
Dana: Sorry about yesterday.
Farrah: It's whatever.
Farrah (DR): I'm totally alone in here. I would've preferred to have been evicted to be honest. I got five votes against me, survived, then got all the votes to be nominated until jury? These people want me to suffer and to die a long death in this game, and that sucks more than getting evicted.
Dana: I still trust you and want to be your friend in here.

Joshua: Now, it is time to find out what veto we are playing for. Last week, the Double POV was won by Christian and Jacob and the Double POV will no longer be played. Replacing the Double POV is The DNR Veto, or the Do Not Replace Veto. The Do Not Replace Veto allows the holder to remove a nominee off the block but will not force the HOH to name a replacement, leaving just two nominees on the block. The DNR Veto joins the Golden Veto and the Triple Veto on the POV Wheel.
Derek (DR): The DNR Veto is great for the rest of the house because then it means we won't get put up. It basically eliminates the backdoor possibility.

Temperance: Houseguests, please come to the backyard. It's time for the veto competition!

Temperance: Houseguests, stakes are high in today's POV competition. Not only are you participating for the Golden POV, but the losers of today's competition will become the Have Nots for the week. Today's competition is called "Pin the Tail on the Veto" and here is how it works. You will be blindfolded and spun around holding a tail and you must pin it on the veto on the board in the back of the backyard. The houseguest who does this in the fastest time wins. It's a simple party game, but it wouldn't be Big Brother without a slight twist. Before you pin the tail on the veto, you will pin time penalties on your competitors. There are five time penalties and an immunity. The immunity means nobody can pin a time penalty on you, but the other time penalties mean someone can add time to your pin the veto time. Does everyone understand?
All: Yes!

Joshua: This is the veto meeting. With the Power of Veto, I have the ability to remove one of my nominations off the block. However, I would find that undoing one of my nominations would be unwise, so I am not using the POV. This meeting is adjourned.
Christian (DR): No real surprise here. Although with Joshua's very public hate for Tom, I feel like I'm off the hook this week.
Tom (DR): I might as well start packing my bags because I feel like I'm going home this week, which is such a shame because I really want to be here.

Tom: I'm packing my bags already.
Farrah: Oh don't do that because I'm going to self-evict on eviction night.
Tom: Really?
Farrah: Yeah, I'm tired of always being singled out for being the odd one. Nobody likes me.
Tom: I'm sorry to hear that.
Tom (DR): On one note, I want to tell her not to quit but if she does throw in the towel, it helps my chances of staying.
Farrah (DR): I'm just so done. I want out and I'm leaving on eviction night.

Tom: Farrah told me she wants to go.
Jacob: Really?
Tom: Yes. And I think y'all should wanna keep someone who wants to be here versus someone who doesn't.
Dana: Yeah, it makes sense.
Dana (DR): Tom is a much better ally than Farrah. And he's a better shield than she is. If Farrah does quit, hopefully there won't be another eviction.
Farrah: Tonight's my last night.
Cristina: Why?
Farrah: Nobody likes me and I'm basically fucked every week, so why should I stay?
Cristina: You gotta fight. I want you here and you're still here, so there's that. It will get better I promise.
Farrah (DR): Hearing Cristina's sympathy is nice but I can't tell if it is genuine. It's hard to tell who is telling the truth in here and who isn't.
