This is a special birthday for sure, and I know it’s definitely not how you wanted to celebrate it. If I can get through COVID, so can you!
Jonah, I have known you for about 5 years now and everyone of them have been special in their own way. Our journey has definitely not been easy, but we still manage to stick together in the end. Especially this past year. 2021 has probably been the toughest year for me in a while. My dad got sick, my family got COVID in May, my job has mentally exhausted me in many ways. All that shit has been rough, but the one thing that I can count on, is that you have been there for me every step of the way. People always seem to try and knock us down *looks* but we always stand tall.
Our friendship is not perfect, and has been tested in many ways the past couple of years, but we have never let it get us down. I don’t agree with everything you do, and you can test my patience quite a bit, but I am still always here for you. Never forget that.
We talk to each other every single day, all day if we are not at work, and we still try to video chat every night. I like being able to vent to you and I like listening to you vent. I love our bond over music, TV and movies. I finally convinced you to watch Friends with me and to eat your words on how stupid you think it is. I especially like talking shit with you and spilling any tea or drama that roams about.
I hope your birthday is everything you want it to be, even though you are stuck in quarantine. Here’s to year 25!
I make these blogs every year to sum up each age. And whew the last few months of year 27 were just...a mess.
First and foremost, I apologize to all of those who I haven’t really kept in touch with. As soon as the new year came, my life got turned upside down. My dad got super sick and I was 2 days away from losing him. Luckily, he pulled through and he’s going great.
I did get a promotion in October and am now a team lead at my Walmart and things have been looking up, with these little wrenches being thrown in here and there.
Lol then I was doing so well and was working good hours with good pay, then my ass got Covid at the end of April. Like the whole family got it. The shit ain’t no joke. So practice everything the CDC says and get vaccinated if you can. Last week was my first week back at work so hopefully I get back on my feet soon.

Y’all have no clue how much you mean to me and idk where I would be without you. Especially Jonah who had to deal with my emotional and anxious ass when my dad was sick. You 4 mean the world to me and I love y’all very much.
So I know my message on your blog was short, but obviously there is a reason for that. It’s an annual tradition where you and I always dedicate a whole blog for our birthdays.
In the winter of 2016, you magically came into my life and changed my life forever. I never thought in a million years that I would meet someone that I would become so close with. I met you when you were just 19 years old and now you’re 24. You’re getting old like me :P
It’s been an honor to watch you grow into the man you have become today. I’m extremely proud of everything you do. You may get on my nerves sometimes and not always make choices I agree with, but I’m still always here and will never give up on our bond.
I enjoy seeing your face and talking to you every night. We literally text all day and never run out of anything to talk about. I appreciate you always being there for me and worrying about me. I know you always have my back.
I enjoy having movie nights, talking shit about our families and work, and watching shows together. You are my ride or die. My partner in crime. My final 2. The Rudy to my Louise. Anyways, year 26 was eh. All I’ve done is work pretty much, but I’m slowly starting to get comfortable in my own skin. I have been put through the emotional ringer for a couple of years, but I learned this year to defend myself at all costs and stand with my head up straight. Year 27 is about to be a lot better.
I want to thank the 3 boys that have been there with me for awhile and made sure I had an amazing birthday, even though I had to spend it on lockdown. But my ass called off work and got to see my family 💁🏻♀️ 1001games -Thanks for always being there for me, even when I’m an emotional mess. You are always my shoulder to cry on when I’m having a bad day. We’ve been through leaps and bounds just to be best friends, but the fact we’ve always stuck together means a lot to me.
