16. MIKE'S DOUBLE IDOL PLAY (S4, SURVIVOR: JORDAN)
Alright before anyone asks any questions.
Yes! Jordan actually did something entertaining despite being last in the season rankings. Let's go back in time around nearly a year ago to the finale episode of Survivor Jordan. The final five consisted of Jimbo sahmosean Mike Michael31 Loop #Loopulle Erik YoundandReckless#ItsOfficial and Big Joe NewOrleansPelicans
At the final five immunity challenge Jimbo won individual immunity his fourth of the season. Jimbo looked to have his locked final three of Erik and Big Joe and held a 3-2 majority over Mike and Loop. However what the three didn't know was over the course of the game Mike had been harboring two idols one was a pre-merge idol and the other was the merge idol. Mike managed to keep both his idols up until the final five. Mike was also aware of the fact that him and Loop were on the bottom so the plan was to ultimately use the two idols on themselves.

Oh, actually hold on鈥 have another trick.
*pulls out another item from bag and walks over to Ben*
Probably don鈥檛 need to do this, but I found it, so I might as well do something with it for shits and giggles.
Loop...
*throws idol to Loop*
There ya go bud.

This is where the moment gets a little weird...
In this current spot you would think that Mike and Loop would take a shot at Jimbo's right hand man Erik. Erik was much more of a competition threat, strategic and jury threat over Big Joe who nearly quit the game and was almost med evact. Well Mike and Loop blindsided both me and the viewer's when this happened...

Like don't get me wrong I understand where Mike was coming from when doing the move. He wanted to knock out someone who was most likely going to be guaranteed a spot at the final tribal council to better his position. The move actually was successful for Mike as he did make it to the end and earned a strong second place and with the person he idoled in Loop who got third place. Also note of reference Jimbo actually turned on his closest ally Erik the next vote instead of taking out Mike. Mike also returned for All-Stars in which he became the Amanda Kimmel of the series getting second place twice.
This is a really underrated moment in my eyes as this is the only double idol play in the series.
maladus1 I don't see how it was a dumb move especially since erik left next and they didn't have to go to a FMC if jimbo didn't win imunity and they did joe and not him I would see why it was dumb but taking out the weaker of the 3 in hopes erik and jimbo would turn on each other got them both to finals. I wasn't in the VL then though so you prob have much more insight then me
What I don't understand is why Michael did not try to take out jimbo earlier on when he didn't have immunity. 2 idols and no move was made against jimbo or erik? That's just dumb imo
Oh my, sounds like he is truly the Parvati Shallow in your series. Played double idols and being robbed of the win.... I know you compared him to amanda but yknow
