to be honest I don't care what my anscestors were treated like a years ago. I care about today. And to be honest ive never seen a black person treated poorly where I come from but ive seen gay kids kill themselves cuz they are treated that shitty. so try again.

and while there isnt enough coverage on gay issues, maybe you could talk about how the LGBT community ignores all non gay males within it and talk about how marginalized they are as well??
konohavillage1 is right, minorities are fetishized in the LGBT community. They're wanted or denied simply because of race. To recognize discrimination against gays, but then ignore the plight of other marginalized groups is ignorance.
