im not a freaking idiot. I understand that the situation was horrible. Im just urked because as much as I hate to tell you this black people aren't the only group discriminated against and it annoys me that its the only one that matters.
When i told my best friend i was gay he blabbed and my own teammates on my football team dragged me out to the parking lot, beat the shit out of me, and threw me into a garbage can. I couldn't do anything about it without my parents finding out.
Where i grow up i have never seen someone treated poorly for their skin color and quite frankly i don't think its even close to being as big of a problem today as homophobia is. The difference is that nobody gives a shit when its homophobia but this is a huge deal.
