Is it safe to visit Israel?

I know two facebook friends who have posted about going to Israel. And I'm just thinking--why?? With all this fighting going on, I would go no where near it tbh.

yeh Israel is 98 % safe. Just don't go palestine, Israelis don't care, they'll kill children too
