RoseMaria lol they're giving me no hours as it is. I work at the GAP and got hired July 13th. I had orientation on the 13th, worked like 4 hours on the 14th, 3 and a half hours on the 23rd, and i work saturday 5 hours but it's on call so i may work 0 this week. it's a 25 minute drive each way w/o traffic and not worth the gas. I'm from GA, but I go to college in MD so I have to quit by the 23rd anyways. I may just quit now tho since I may have 0 hours next week..again and go to florida lol, but idk if i should put it on my resume for 2 shifts lmao
I mean if you wanna leave with a good rep, might as well put your two weeks in. OR you can try and transfer. Friends of mine have been able to work where we go to college, and back in their home towns when they go back for like Christmas and stuff
brosky17 im not getting any hours to begin with. I do want to transfer, but I don't think I've worked there enough for them to even recommend me to the Baltimore manager as I've only worked there twice thus far and I leave in two weeks. I want to go to FL to visit family I haven't seen in over a year. I wouldn't care if I actually worked at this job, but they're legit giving me 0 hours and it's far away. I think if I give them 2 weeks notice then I'll get even less hours than I am getting now atm.
Ya never know though. If they already know you are leaving, maybe that's why they aren't giving you hours. Maybe they think you'll just quit or something
nah i didn't tell them when they hired me brosky17. no one is getting hours out of the 5 people they hired. the other manager told me they were very strict with hours. i did tell the other manager about transferring and she said i have to talk to the store manager, but i've been working nights so she's never there...
