1) The rich. They don't give a fuck about the poor. Hence why they don't want to raise the minimum wage. Do you really think $7.25 pays for ANYTHING??? In Canada, the minimum wage is way higher. Even in NYC it's only $8 an hour and we all know that'll pay for shit in the city.
2) Guns, guns, and guns! There is a reason why Europe doesn't have as many murders as the U.S does because they don't have access to guns and have strict laws. Yes there are cases like in Norway where there is a massacre, but this is extremely rare. These shootings are very often in America. If there were gun control then it would be much harder for these loonies to get guns to begin with. In most states, they don't even make you take a background check before purchasing a gun.
3) White heterosexual men. Republicans in congress have been wanting to take away funding for Planned Parenthood for YEARS now. They don't believe it's a woman's choice to have an abortion. They don't give a fuck about LGBT rights which is a civil rights issue. Which leads me into
4) Religion. Everything comes back to Jesus this and Jesus that. Gay marriage is wrong because it says so in the bible, blah blah blah. It's garbage. There is the separation between church and state for a reason.
5) War. Did we forget who got us into this "war on terrorism" in the first place?? Bush is legit one of the worst presidents in American history.
Not to say this is true among all Republicans as some of my best friends are, however as a whole this is 100% true :)
