The vernacular is very homophobic and racist; however, Aussies are actually pretty laid back and can careless what your sexuality is. It's really no big deal like it is in the states. But there is definitely a pressure to be "masculine" regardless of who you sleep with. I got judged so hardcore when I was drinking my vodka slushi's LOL and it had nothing to do with sexuality but had everything to do with gender norms.
