When when people in the black lives movement are totally against LGBT rights and marriage equality. Like wise, it pisses me off about LGBT individuals who do not support the black lives movement. How could you be gay but racist? I don't get it. Both are important. Both need recognition. Both want equality. It may not be exactly the same, but in the end they're both important.
So when a girl who considers herself a black lives activist & then posts these pics:
idk, now I'm not saying whatsoever its right for one group that's discriminated against to discriminate against another, but whenever you're in a minority group, do you really feel like most of the people of that group are ALWAYS thinking of themselves as a minority? Chances are they're hanging around people LIKE them who think like them, so they don't feel like a minority most of the time. And like other majorities such as white (in America) and straight, they will discriminate because they aren't always thinking like they are a minority. I feel like that could possibly be an explanation for people who aren't activists in any group looking for their equality.
