CALLING ALL TRAVEL EXPERTS

Does anyone know the rules about bringing bottles of alcohol back to the States? I have three bottles of vodka (two unopened and one opened). I got all three duty free in Bangkok, but it's been a while. I've been getting mixed reviews online. Obviously they're going in my checked baggage. If it matters I am flying Delta and I arrive in LA from Sydney (and then off to ATL).

I didn't see that you said that it was open. I know that you are allowed to bring alcohol into the country, but not sure about opened containers. I would call the airliner to check.

The bottles are 1L of Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka, 100cl Danzka Vodka, and 1L of pinnacle chocolate whipped. All are unopened EXCEPT the pinnacle @oridinarygentleman

Yeah, I would definitely check with the airliner. The TSA is always changing their rules.

oh if its open you cant take alcohol through because you could of added something else to it - they wouldnt let me take lotion because it was opened (and it was a big bottle) they are really dumb coreyants

it looks like i can only bring 1L or i'll have to pay so should i give the other two bottles away to a friend? one is unopened but a small bottle of danzka
