It bothers me when

LGBT people aren't for the Black Lives Matter movement and black rights

And it also bothers me when black people are against "homosexuality" and are transphobic.

I just think people in minority groups should be supporting one another.

Like I honestly couldn't be an advocate for LGBT rights if I wasn't an advocate for black rights as well.

konohavillage1 i have some african american friends who are avid #blacklivesmatter advocates, but keep on posting transphobic stuff on caitlyn jenner and crap

and then i can see it the other way too. it annoys the shit out of me.

why can't we all support one another :(

coreyants yeah honestly it bugs the hell out of me. i had a friend on facebook whos gay and was saying the riots in baltimore were uncalled for

like stonewall was a riot??? a big reason LGBT people get to be open is because of rioting??

yeah people don't understand it, it annoys me. i go to college in baltimore and when the riots were happening while i was abroad in australia everyone kept on telling me "oh im sure you're glad to be on the other side of the world" when in reality i wanted to do do something about it. especially since im from GA too don't even get me started on this confederate flag BS. I had a friend who thought it was alright and i was about to bitch slap her lmfao. people don't understand the history behind the flag. like do they forget what happened in the civil war? rofl

oh and speaking of stonewall there's a new movie coming out but the protagonist is a white gay guy and people are livid because they didn't include the black drag queens and trans individuals who were apart of the movement.
