I was 13 (2007) working as a junior camp counselor at a broadway camp in ATL. On the day of our recital/showing, my director pulls us aside and says a famous rapper is going to be coming. We were not allowed to ask for autographs. Everyone asked who it was and she said Ludacris. I had no idea who the fuck he was (I was a big Kelly Clarkson fan..not my kind of music), but I had been teaching his daughter Karma.
She then tells us Ludacris is a special client and he was running late, so she put me and someone else on stage to stall the show. I had to sing Hakuna Montana...and I forgot the lyrics to the song lmao. Anyways Ludacris arrives and we were allowed to start the show.
Honestly after this happened, I was really pissed off we had to stall for a celebrity. Had it been any other child's parent, we would have started w/o them.
