This is no joke.  Yesterday when I was at work, I was walking down steps outside to go get something from my car (which ended up being at home anyway), when I slipped on ice and fell.  My right hand was holding onto the handrail, but somehow I managed to fall on my left hand, resulting in a fracture, right below my ring finger.  My middle finger is swollen, and my hand is black and blue.  It's possible I could need surgery on it, but I'm hoping I don't.  I also hope that I can still go to work on Monday.  :(

hope you feel better! i have had surgery on my pinkie and it wasn't so bad. But i hope that it's nothing major in your case :)

Thanks everyone.  This truly does suck.  Never take for granted things you can you using both hands.  I'm just glad this didn't happen to my dominate hand.  It was so hard washing my hair last night with one hand, but I did it.
