In a game that is 75% challenges, it being an open enrollment would be a death sentence to the idea in general... even if prices are lowered.
The game is basically the Duel, with a few other elements added into it... but look at what happened with its counterpart? The Duel = 12 open spots, lower enrollment fee, lower color level requirement - in turn, it barely filled and was removed not once, but twice. Hunger Games = 30 open spots, even higher color level requirement, higher enrollment fee... what makes anybody think the Hunger Games would do any better? Please don't ruin it, keep it special.
Work for that color level, or just be patient... its all in the name of the game. ;_;
maybe it shouldn't be open enrollment all the time but it is kind of unfair that no one knows when the next one will start. at least with stars is has a set time. with the HG's, whoever wins the last one will just get to join the next one, and so on.
This game has strategy to it. You shouldn't compare it to the duel, you should compare it to survivor. That allows people to enroll all the time and it fills constantly. Just saying ~
I respect your opinion, but there was strategy to the Duel as well... in addition to that, I don't understand how you link Hunger Games to Survivor, it only takes ten people to fill one tribe, haha. :S
While I about the colour level/price, I WHOLLY disagree with you re. enrollment, and actually have no desire to play at its current state. You should be able to join as soon as one fills.
The 'one game' element ruins it, because everyone outsideit is talking, or blogging about it, and ranting and raving about what they think players in the game should do. How on earth is that right? If I was to join, I wouldn't want people blogging, or slating, or tagging me here there and everywhere - call me boring, but I'd want to join my own game, with 29 others, where I and I alone could decide what I wanted to do, and mostly, I could get blissfully ignored by outside players.
I really hope Randomize fixes it, so we can have 24/7 enrollment, to keep everyone red or over happy, then there would be no need for those desperate to play, to blog shit about those that are in there.
Thank you for your feedback!! I'd like to counter on that.
That's what the Hunger Games is all about, dear... in its book concept, its a television show in which the entire nation of Panem looks in and watches, sponsors, and even bets. Just because others rant about another's gameplay on the blogs page doesn't mean that the player has to succumb to their complaints... they have the right to play their own game however they see fit. It's the same thing as Stars, in a sense. I see where you're coming from... but in the end, its all part of the game. :S
True, there was some strategy to the duel. I think the major flaw with the duel was that if someone wasn't good at games, they would just waste there time in there. Here, if you suck at games you still somewhat have a chance to do okay.
Actually I see your point there, but I don't want to play it at all unless it changes..pcurrent players get ripped to shreds, their blogs hardcore negged etc...Not a game for me!
It'll get to a point though, that where nobody is going to care for this game anymore, and it will take FOREVER to fill up a game.
The concept is much more fun than the duel, and the payouts are more worthwhile. Also, the fact that it is a variable game and that can be ended at any time also adds another concept that we haven't really seen before. All of tengaged's games so far have a basic start time and a basic ending time. Also, you have to be active a lot of the time to play HG, so that demands a lot to the players at the moment.
I like how it is, and I don't want it to change, but although the duel kinda crapped out, I see HG as a much more fun, complex, strategical game than the duel really ever could be.
finklestein123 - to defend princess point aren't all of the games on tengaged about outside ppl watching and talking about it
i like the ariable game but just pointing that out, i agree with the rest of what u sed
